Best known for his portrayal as the adorable husband and father in the 1980s television program “The Cosby Show,” 84-year-old Bill Cosby is recognized throughout the world. This moniker was given to him because of his role on TV. However, following more than 50 women’s allegations over about five decades, his family-friendly reputation has been tainted.

In 2018, Bill Cosby was convicted of drugging and sexually attacking Andrea Constand in his house in 2004. Temple University, where Bill Cosby attended school, employed Andrea Constand at the time.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned Cosby’s 2015 conviction in June 2021, just as he was about to complete his sentence of more than two years, which might have ranged from three to ten years.

The court found that the allegations against Bill Cosby should never have been filed because a previous local district attorney had made a public promise in 2005 that he would not be prosecuted. The prosecution’s appeal to have the decision reconsidered by the Supreme Court of the United States was denied.

Now, a new sexual battery case against Bill Cosby will proceed after a court authorized the civil lawsuit. This action is anticipated to take place in Santa Monica, California.

According to allegations, when they both stayed at the Playboy Mansion, Bill Cosby sexually assaulted Judy Huth. The woman’s lawyer claimed that Huth was a teenager at the time.

Dozens of women have accused him of drugging, sexually molesting, or raping them over the course of several years. Huth subsequently sued Bill Cosby in 2014. She made up her mind to speak out after the allegations were published. When Bill Cosby was arrested for his sexual crimes in 2015, Huth’s lawsuit against him was put on hold.

Huth’s legal team has been trying to have the lawsuit dismissed on the grounds that Huth’s account has altered since he first sued Cosby.

According to attorney Nathan Goldberg, who appeared as a witness for Huth in Santa Monica, California, Huth met Cosby when she was just a teenager and he was a “star.” The photo of Huth and Cosby together that Goldberg displayed to the jury was taken on the day she claims her behavior changed.

Prior to this, Huth maintained that the incident occurred when she was 15 years old. She subsequently modified her assertion and now claims it happened when she was 17 years old. She is accusing him of sexual battery and seeking compensation for her emotional suffering.

According to Huth’s complaint, she and a friend met Cosby on the set of a film in Central Park. The next week, Huth stated that Cosby had invited her and her friends to his home in Los Angeles, where he made her drink beer and abuse her on a bed.

During the opening statements, Goldberg said, “He has a sense of entitlement and no fear. He has a sense of invincibility.” The people who witnessed the alleged Cosby assault will testify about what occurred that day, according to his client and the individual Huth claims saw it.

In a statement, Cosby’s legal representative Jennifer Bonjean said: “We are confident that the evidence will discredit Plaintiff’s 50-year-old allegation.”

It is widely expected that Bill Cosby will not appear at the trial.
