Some parents of students in New Jersey are calling for the removal of an art teacher due to concerns over her attire. The teacher is seen in photographs wearing form-fitting clothing that some feel is inappropriate and distracting for students. These parents are urging district leaders to take action and terminate her employment. It has been observed that Roxsana Diaz, an art teacher in Pennsauken, New Jersey, is promoting her children’s book and her skills as an art teacher using her physical attractiveness. She is popularly known as “Miss A” by her students at the school where she teaches, but on the internet, she is recognized more by her appearance than her name.

Recently, Roxsana Diaz, who has over one million followers on her @toyboxdollz Instagram page, gained attention in late August. However, some parents demanded that she be fired from her job as a teacher at a New Jersey public school because they believed she was too sexy.

The New Jersey art teacher appeared on Tamron Hall’s talk show in response to her critics and addressed the controversial photographs of her posing provocatively in the classroom that went viral. Most of her photos were taken a year before they became popular and caused controversy among parents who believed that she should be fired from her job as a public school teacher because her appearance was too provocative for students.

“It became a concern when the tabloids turned everything into something ugly versus, ‘look at this curvaceous, beautiful teacher,’” Diaz stated.

Miss Diaz clarified that she doesn’t wear improper clothing in front of her students. She mentioned that she has a curvy figure and all her outfits tend to look good on her, irrespective of what she wears.

“I do not [dress inappropriately]. I wouldn’t have the job for the many years I’ve had it. I volunteered for seven years at that school before even accepting the teaching position,” Diaz stated. “It’s so scary to see that social media and the world can really feed you anything they want to feed you.”

The art teacher was at risk of losing her job after parents called the school district leaders. This news left the students worried and horrified as they didn’t want to lose their favorite teacher, Miss Diaz.

“Two of my girls, two little girls, ran to me almost in tears and hugged me,” Diaz stated. “I don’t like talking about it with my children.”

A parent who was involved in the viral photo incident spoke up in support of the teacher, stating the following.

“It was just, like, an innocent thing,” Jolea Ardnt stated. “It wasn’t to expose or make something bigger than what it was.”
