Nadya “Octomom” Suleman shocked the globe thirteen years ago when she delivered eight babies at once. Suleman, though, has now come forward to wish her eight youngest children a happy birthday on social media with a loving message. “Happy 13th birthday to Nariyah, Isaiah, Maliyah, Jeremiah, Noah, Josiah, Jonah, and Makai!” Suleman wrote in her caption.

Her heartwarming story went on with more touching words for her eight children, all of whom were born on the same day. She said: “Each of you possess[es] rare and unique characteristics, and are unlike any other child of your age, particularly in our society today. Words cannot express how grateful I am to be your mother. You all have blessed my life immensely, and I thank God daily for trusting me to care for, shape the lives of, and influence all of you.”

Suleman remains firm in her opinion that her eight children are a gift from the highest power, even though her life as a parent has had its ups and downs over the last thirteen years.

“We need to hug our loved ones a little longer and a little harder while they are here,” she wrote on Instagram. “You are my miracles, my angels, and I will love you with all my heart, forever.”

Suleman, a resident of Los Angeles, made headlines in 2009 when she rescued eight newborns from the same hospital delivery. She already had six children at the time. Her first kid was a male who was born in 2001 and became her youngest after two years.

Suleman attempted IVF on several occasions. She eventually gave birth to eight children, all of whom were fraternal twins. She already had four young boys and two young ladies before she delivered eight children at once.

Suleman did not want eight children at once, as she claimed in 2018 to The New York Times, and she acquired faulty information from her doctor.

Suleman said, “I was misled by my doctor,” adding that she thought she would be able to have only two children at a time. She continued: “I did not think I’d have any more than two kids.”

Suleman, on the other hand, underwent two procedures that resulted in the implantation of twelve embryos. After losing his medical license, he fled to Canada.

“He told me we lost six embryos, he said they were expelled out of me, and that’s why he wanted to implant another six,” Suleman stated.

Suleman claims that as a single mother, she does not keep secrets from her fourteen children, stating that “We talk about everything.”

Amerah, Amerah’s daughter, praised Suleman, “She’s been fighting for our family for ten years now. No matter what, she’s never going to give up, and I know that.”
