A bride from Kansas City, Missouri passed away five days after her wedding due to cancer. The bride, Heather Mosher, had been fighting breast cancer since December 2016, but her boyfriend David Mosher still proposed to her during a horse-drawn carriage ride through Rockefeller Center on December 23, 2016.

David Mosher proposed to Heather Mosher, who said “yes” and they started planning their wedding. Unfortunately, Heather Mosher’s health deteriorated as their wedding day drew near. On December 22, 2017, exactly one year after his proposal, the couple got married at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.

Even though Heather Mosher’s health was getting worse, the couple still went ahead with their wedding plans. Mosher wore a wig due to hair loss from chemotherapy, but her husband thought she looked beautiful in her wedding dress. “She looked absolutely gorgeous,” David Mosher said.

Unfortunately, Heather Mosher passed away only five days after their wedding. Her husband posted the tragic news on Facebook: “She passed away Christmas morning holding my hand.”

Heather Mosher’s inspiring story of marrying the love of her life despite battling cancer has touched people worldwide. A viral photo of their wedding day shows Heather wearing a breathing tube, displaying the couple’s love and strength in the face of hardship.

According to David Mosher, he hopes that his wife’s story will serve as an inspiration for others to pursue their dreams without giving up. “You can’t give up,” he said. “You have to go through life and you have to live it to the fullest. You have to look at every moment as a blessing.”

Heather Mosher’s passing has caused deep sorrow among her loved ones, but her memory will endure. Her experience is a testament to the resilience of humanity and the significance of love.
