Jennifer Lopez is well-known for her derriere. She shocked fans and critics alike, though, when she posted an image of her derriere to social media while wearing hot-air balloon leggings. Although the company’s name was not stated, Niyama Sol is an activewear brand. At the bottom of the post, J-Lo wrote: “Back at it and ready for the weekend.” However, after posting a photo of her butt in tight leggings, she received a slew of criticism despite people talking about her buttocks for decades.

Jennifer Lopez’s rear was also on display, as well as her hair being pulled up into a tight ponytail and big hoop earrings. Despite the fact that the photo received a lot of acclaim from J-Lo supporters, it drew considerable outrage from her detractors, who felt that the performer was deliberately seeking attention for her butt by uploading it to social media.

With over three million likes on the post, there were no shortages of comments expressing how much people loved her. Some even personalized their tweets with insults for her leggings.

“You always have the best leggings!” one person said.

“okay, these are cute. And you’re looking AMAZING, mama,” another one said.

“You seriously have the PERFECT body!!!! God Bless you,” a third fan stated.

However, many horrible remarks have been made about Lopez’s internet photo.

“Her obsession with her derriere is just ridiculous,” one user said.

“WHY???? Does this woman need this much attention all the time?” a second user said.

Others found this to be an opportunity to compare Jennifer Lopez’s behind to the surgically enhanced bottoms of the Kardashians.

“To think pre Kardashian days, everyone thought her bum was huge.”

“Always selling something like the K family! Zzzzz”

The picture first appeared on social media during the summer of 2020, when the country was still dealing with George Floyd’s murder on video by a Minneapolis police officer. At around the same time, America was battling against racial tension following the death of George Floyd on video by a Minneapolis police officer. In another Instagram post, Lopez discussed an unpleasant experience with the Duke University men’s basketball team.

“#BlackLivesMatter We should be saying this every day. It’s not a political issue. It’s a human rights issue. Repost from @dukembb”.

On June 19, 2020, she published a video about being racially profiled by police and barriers to freedom for people of color.

“Let’s take action: there is a link in my bio to sign a petition created by Opal Lee, a 93-year-old woman from Texas, to make Juneteenth a national holiday.”

Celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez have taken advantage of social media to a previously unseen degree. Some followers object to how famous people use social media to promote their assets. Other fans, on the other hand, believe it is completely okay since social media is all about personality.

Do you think Jennifer Lopez went too far by posting a photo of her posterior in leggings? Or do you feel that celebrities have the right to exhibit themselves in these ways?
