Honey Boo Boo is the name given to June Shannon’s daughter. Honey Boo Boo is a young actress who first appeared onscreen and instantly captivated millions of fans. It’s been a few years since Honey Boo Boo made her television debut, and she’s grown up into an attractive 16-year-old with her sights set on a 20-year-old guy.

Although Alana is still in high school, her mother allows her to make decisions about dating an older guy. Mama June understands that Alana will be OK no matter what happens. Since making the transition from “Toddlers & Tiaras” to “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” “Mama June: From Not to Hot,” and “Mama June: From Not to Hot,” Mama June knows that her daughter is tough and will be able to learn from her life experiences.

Dating should not be an exemption. Honey Boo Boo supporters and defenders, on the other hand, have expressed their worry that her little star is dating someone who is too mature for her.

Alana and Dralin have been dating for about a year. The couple make a striking pair, with Dralin being 20 years old and Alana being only four years old. Despite the fact that they have a four-year age gap, and Alana is still a kid, her mother and family members back her up, so that’s all that matters.

Alana’s mother said to TooFab, “Yes, I’ve met Dralin. They’ve been together for over a year. People need to realize that she’s going to be 17 in August and that [Alana’s older sister] Pumpkin and Josh were the same age as they were.”

Mama June continued, “She is getting a lot of hate because she’s in an interracial relationship, he is older, but at the end of the day, Alana’s not that 6-7-year-old child y’all fell in love with 11 years ago. Alana has grown up. She’s graduating high school next year, guys!”

Alana concurs with her mother. The child actress’s love life, thankfully, is one on which the pair can agree.

The couple first met at the House of Blues, where Alana was performing. They’ve been dating ever since! During an interview with PEOPLE magazine earlier this year, Alana revealed details about her relationship with Dralin Carswell.

“I feel like so many people still look at me as that little girl that very first came on TV,” said Alana. “Even when the posts about me and my boyfriend coming out, I feel like there were so many people that were still treating me like I was six years old.”

Meanwhile, Mama June is attempting to reclaim custody of Alana from her sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon. When speaking about the upcoming season of “Mama June: Road to Redemption,” she said that viewers would “see (the custody battle) coming along during the season, and it is an emotional thing because, you know, a lot of things are real. A lot of real-life issues are going on behind the cameras, so when we come in front of the cameras and talk about it, it is still raw. It’s like ripping that Band-Aid off.”
