Reportedly, a 28-year-old woman who was featured on the reality show Bride and Prejudice has passed away in a car accident.
According to Dee, Dannii Erskine’s car was hit by an apparently intoxicated driver while returning home from the shops on Friday, as reported by So Dramatic.
“As she went through a green light, a driver was intoxicated and T-boned her,” Dee stated, adding that Dannii’s “skull was crushed upon impact with the airbag.”
Dannii was declared legally or brain dead in the hospital at 12:01 am on Saturday morning. Her life support was turned off almost six hours later at 5:45 am.
According to her grieving sister, she had recently started to rebuild her life following a difficult breakup before her untimely death.
“She passed away the morning of April 29 at 12:01 am. She will be loved [and] very much missed… It was a horrible tragedy,” Dee said.
“She was 28, full of life and trying her best to move on and meet someone. Now she won’t get that chance.”
Dannii’s family posted a tribute on her Instagram page as well.
“REST IN PEACE Dannii Erskine. 1995 – 2023,” read one post.
“28/04 took Dannii’s life to a speeding driver – an awful accident. We appreciate and respect wishes we have received as a family.”
The post announced that Dannii’s social media accounts will be deleted within the next 24 hours.
An Instagram Story read: “Rest well, Dans. Funeral arrangements are in the process.”
In 2019, Dannii and her then-fiancé named Denton appeared on Seven’s Bride and Prejudice as participants.
