This week, a concerning video emerged of a towering 6-foot-6 Florida student violently pummeling an unsuspecting female staffer into unconsciousness after she confiscated his Nintendo Switch gaming device.

In a state of rage, the seventeen-year-old sprinted toward the female teacher. She barely had time to detect her attacker in the moment before he forced her onto the ground.

The hefty student then proceeded to viciously stomp on the defenseless paraprofessional while they were lying unconscious, in Matanzas High School located in Palm Coast, before proceeding to punch them 15 times.

As other horrified staff members rushed to the scene, they managed to separate the boy from the teacher who had been savagely attacked, and then she was quickly taken off for medical attention at a nearby hospital.

It is anticipated that she will make a full recovery from her wounds.

Security footage released by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office showcases a criminal being arrested while in one of Matanzas High School’s classrooms – handcuffs and all.

“The student stated that he was upset with the victim because she took his Nintendo Switch away during class,” police said.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the teacher in an unconscious and bloodied state as stated in an arrest report.

The unruly student, living in a group home, started to spit and shout menacingly at the teacher while telling police that he was “going to kill her” when school resumed.

As he was being processed, the teen kept inquiring when he would be emancipated, yet started kicking a desk and becoming aggressive once his inquiries went unanswered.

“The actions of this student are absolutely horrendous and completely uncalled for,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. “We hope the victim will recover, both mentally and physically, from this incident.”

The adolescent has been handed over to the Department of Juvenile Justice and was charged with felonies related to battery.

After the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office released a disturbing video, Volusia County School authorities quickly issued an official statement.

“The safety and security of our students and staff is of utmost importance to us and we will continue to cooperate fully with the local authorities as part of this investigation,” officials stated.
