Rosie O’Donnell is a controversial figure, who remains at the top of former President Donald Trump’s list of foes, despite her being a public figure who will not be going anywhere anytime soon. Rosie O’Donnell has recently fallen in love with a new partner, who she regards as her soulmate now that she is approaching retirement years. And you won’t believe how Rosie met her current girlfriend on TikTok.
O’Donnell uses TikTok frequently, but she’s also using the Chinese platform for more. She previously scoped out her current relationship on TikTok and managed to start a romance through communication via the social media services, which are run by the Chinese government to gather data on American users who continuously use the app to connect with people from across the world.
Aimee Hauer is O’Donnell’s current girlfriend. She recently revealed on talk show host Howard Stern that she came across Hauer on the Chinese app during a conversation that took place on September 12, 2022.
Stern reminded O’Donnell during their conversation that she had previously said she would “rather do anything than have sex”. To Stern’s amazement, O’Donnell had found herself a lesbian lover.
“She’s very, very sexy to me,” Rosie O’Donnell stated.
“So, in other words, you now are ready to do things sexually,” Stern said.
“I’m back in action, Howard!”
The host then moved the discussion over to TikTok, which he referred to as a “weird” internet domain. He also found it odd that O’Donnell was able to meet someone on the Chinese social media platform with its abundance of strange videos and viral trends – not romance.
“Well, I watched her … little videos, her TikToks, and every time I would smile. I was like, ‘This woman is, like, perfect! She’s so happy and enthusiastic and bright and has a light coming from her.’”
O’Donnell met her current partner on a social media site and Stern was curious as to how that happened.
“Just literally going through [Hauer’s TikTok],” Rosie O’Donnell said. “Now, I have never contacted anyone on TikTok that I wanted to date besides her. I thought we’d just be friends, but I said, ‘You’re very beautiful. I love your look.’ And ten days later, she wrote me back with a little video. Like, she was singing a song and going ‘hi’ and ‘hi.’”
In the final few minutes, she revealed that she had truly found love in her twilight years.
“I’m in love,” she stated. “I am. And she’s really kind and wonderful, and I like the pace we’re going at. It’s not like a U-Haul situation.”
O’Donnell has stated that she does not want to marry Hauer because it is not her “best thing.”
“No, we’re not doing a third marriage, Howard,” Rosie O’Donnell said. “Two is enough. … I promise you, Howard.”
