In a resolute move, the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, a prominent national pro-life organization, has unveiled its ambitious agenda for the upcoming year. With a commitment to allocate approximately $100 million and knock on over 4 million doors, they are gearing up for the forthcoming presidential election, which holds the potential to reshape the landscape of pro-life advocacy in the United States.
In a press release issued on February 1, the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America declared, “This week, the national pro-life group SBA Pro-Life America unveiled its comprehensive political program for the pivotal 2024 elections, earmarking $92 million to engage with 10 million voters across America to safeguard the sanctity of life.”
Emphasizing their focus on key battleground states, the organization stated, “SBA Pro-Life America, in collaboration with Women Speak Out PAC (WSO), will canvass 4 million households in eight critical states, including Arizona, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Montana, and Georgia. Our objective is to connect with 10 million voters in these states, with a particular emphasis on engaging low-turnout and persuadable voters, with the aim of securing both the presidency and a congressional majority.”
Marjorie Dannenfelser, the president of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, stressed the paramount significance of combatting abortion as a fundamental “human rights” issue. She pointedly called out aspects of the Democratic pro-abortion agenda, which includes support for late-term abortions even up to the ninth month of pregnancy.
Dannenfelser asserted, “Life stands as the defining human rights issue of our era and the central concern in the 2024 elections. Pro-abortion Democrats have unequivocally embraced the cause of unrestricted abortion access throughout all nine months of pregnancy as their primary campaign platform. They are already pouring unprecedented resources into distorting their stance. Many Democrats now openly advocate going ‘Beyond Roe’ because the landmark decision doesn’t go far enough.”
The president of the organization further outlined their strategy to communicate the objectives of their pro-life agenda, with a firm stance against federally funded abortion without restrictions. Dannenfelser reiterated their commitment to reaching out to as many voters as possible in these pivotal battleground states.
“This is why we must rally behind pro-life candidates who champion the ‘three C’s.’ They need to articulate their unwavering opposition to painful late-term abortions, demonstrate compassion for women facing unplanned pregnancies, and highlight the extreme stance of their opponents who advocate for unrestricted taxpayer-funded abortions on demand. This election cycle marks our most extensive ground game to date, as we concentrate our efforts on key battleground states to secure a pro-life Senate and elect a National Defender of Life as President. We will not take any voter for granted, whether they are occasionally pro-life voters or potential converts who will recognize the radicalism of the Democratic stance. We remain steadfast in our mission to support mothers and protect the lives of unborn children,” Dannenfelser affirmed.
Following the landmark overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022, abortion has emerged as a deeply divisive yet profoundly influential topic in American politics. As underscored by the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, this issue is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the 2024 election landscape, with pro-life advocates steadfastly working towards their vision of a culture that cherishes and protects the sanctity of every human life.
