Diamond and Silk, the sisters Lynette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson respectively, were outspoken supporters of Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential bid. They used to be correspondents for Fox News but their views on Covid-19 cost them that gig. Diamond and Silk had no qualms about sharing their opinion with the world – regardless of what others thought.

Even if one may not agree with someone’s political leanings, it is still devastating to learn of their early passing. Today, President Trump shared the unfortunate news that Diamond had passed away in her home in North Carolina surrounded by her sister. He mourned her death “totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out.”

Upon Trump’s communication, the Diamond and Silk social media accounts declared the passing of Diamond. An image of her accompanied their post which stated, “The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity! Please respect the privacy of Diamond’s family!” The post also included a link to a site where followers can make “Contributions towards Preserving Diamond’s Legacy.”

This fundraiser page explained that “Diamond blazed a trail, founded on her passion and love for the entire race of humanity. The memory of her passing should forever remain in our hearts.”

Last November, soon after Diamond marked her 51st birthday, it was requested by the Diamond and Silk Twitter account that well-wishers pray for their beloved member; yet no hint of an illness was revealed.

Mike Lindell, the creator of MyPillow and fervent Trump advocate who held a video series with Diamond and Silk recently told The Daily Beast that Diamond had been ill. He found out about her passing after seeing President Trump’s tweet on the matter.
