Kim Kardashian has been granted a restraining order against a man who allegedly believes that he and Kim have been communicating Telepathically.
According to TMZ, after Andre Persaud went to her home at least three times in August, Kim is now forbidden from being contacted by him and he must remain 100 yards away from her. The restraining order, which was granted Monday, will remain in effect for the next five years.
Kim, 42 years of age, states that she has never encountered Andre before and was afraid he might become aggressive after he supposedly said that he had arms with him.
On social media, Persaud reportedly claimed that Kim communicates with him telepathically in one post.
In addition, Persaud is not allowed to own or possess any firearms and must turn over any that he currently has to law enforcement.
Last month, Kim was given a temporary restraining order against Persaud.
Kim is no stranger to being followed and harassed.
A stalker named Nicholas Costanza was apprehended by security at her gated Hidden Hills community last year.
The man was arrested for trespassing and violating his five-year restraining order. This isn’t the first time he’s caused trouble for this woman either; he had previously sent her a diamond ring and the Plan-B morning after pill.
Six years ago, at Paris Fashion Week, thieves broke into her hotel room, tied her up, and stole $10 million worth of jewelry from her.
‘As far as jewelry, if I’m wearing something, it’s borrowed. It’s fake,’ she said to Andy Cohen during the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reunion.
She continued: ‘I can’t sleep if I have jewelry in my safe, or money, or anything at my house. I just don’t live my life like that.’
Since being robbed, she has doubled her personal security and goes less flashy, avoiding wearing expensive jewelry.
‘On a positive note, I’m a completely different person because of it, in the best way,’ she reflected. ‘[Before the robbery], I had to have the coolest car, the best rims, the best outfit and I thought that I was the s**t because of that. I thought that made me.’
She added: ‘The things I valued before that happened were genuinely completely different than what I value now. It’s fun to get dressed up and all this, but like, [material] things don’t make me.’
The unfortunate event also ‘significantly changed’ her and sister Khloé Kardashian’s relationship.
The 38-year-old Good American founder said that though Kim was ‘obviously a great sister prior,’ there has been a noticeable change in how she gives her attention to her family and relationships as opposed to red carpets or other events.
‘I mean, our relationship has significantly changed,’ Khloé said.
