Robyn Bernard, renowned for her portrayal in the cherished soap opera “General Hospital,” has tragically passed away at the age of 64.

The lifeless body of Bernard was discovered in an open expanse behind a commercial establishment in San Jacinto, Calif. on Tuesday morning, as confirmed by a press release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

The talented actress, celebrated for her role as Terry Brock in the enduring soap opera, was pronounced dead at 4:08 a.m.

Bernard’s identity was confirmed by the coroner’s office through her fingerprints following the authorities’ involvement in a death investigation, as per TMZ reports.

While an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, it may take weeks for the toxicology results to be revealed.

Notably, no foul play is suspected in Bernard’s untimely demise.

Born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas, Bernard embarked on an illustrious acting career, gracing numerous television screens with her talent. Her credits include appearances in notable series such as “Diva,” “Simon & Simon,” and “Betty Blue.”

In 1984, Bernard secured the iconic role of Terry Brock, also known as Terry O’Connor, in “General Hospital,” a character she portrayed for 145 episodes until her departure from the show in 1990.

Beyond her acclaimed stint in the soap opera realm, Bernard ventured into other projects, leaving her mark on shows like “Whiz Kids,” “The Facts of Life,” “Tour of Duty,” and “Kings for a Day.”

One of her notable post-soap roles was as a psychologist in “Voices from High School” in 2002, marking her final credited appearance before she gracefully withdrew from the Hollywood spotlight.

Bernard leaves behind her father Jerry Wayne Bernard, along with her two sisters Crystal and Scarlett.
