Things got heated on Fox News Channel’s The Five when host Greg Gutfeld confronted liberal co-host Marie Harf over her shameless defense of the Biden family amid fresh corruption accusations — all while she launched baseless attacks against former President Donald Trump.

The latest spark came from Qatar’s recent offer to gift the U.S. government a Boeing 747, intended as a temporary Air Force One replacement. Critics on the left immediately accused Trump of corruption for entertaining the gift — even though Trump clarified it was a gift to the United States government, not to him personally.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump fired back with a detailed explanation:

“The Boeing 747 is being given to the United States Air Force/Department of Defense, NOT TO ME! It is a gift from a Nation, Qatar, that we have successfully defended for many years. It will be used by our Government as a temporary Air Force One… Why should our military, and therefore our taxpayers, be forced to pay hundreds of millions of Dollars when they can get it for FREE? Only a FOOL would not accept this gift on behalf of our Country.”

That clear-eyed defense did not stop Marie Harf from doubling down on the usual left-wing narrative. On The Five, she accused Trump of corruption, arguing the Qatar deal showed “millions and millions of dollars” flowing into Trump family businesses. But here’s the kicker — she then claimed that if Joe Biden had done the same, the outrage from conservatives would be deafening.

In response, Jesse Watters wasted no time in exposing her hypocrisy:

“That’s because the Trump family has a business. The Biden family didn’t have a business.”

Gutfeld quickly jumped in, drawing the crucial distinction between Trump’s legitimate business dealings and the Biden family’s alleged pay-for-play schemes. “Yeah, you can’t compare the two,” he said bluntly. Harf shot back angrily, “You’re right, Trump is worse,” igniting a fiery back-and-forth.

Gutfeld didn’t back down, hitting Harf with the cold truth:

“The Bidens exploited public service for personal wealth.”

She countered with her usual talking point that Trump’s Middle East deals are just as corrupt. “That’s what Donald Trump is doing today!” she insisted.

But Gutfeld expertly dismantled her claim:

“One is transparent and one isn’t. We know about the jet because Trump’s not hiding it. We didn’t know about the Burisma deal. We didn’t know about the money coming from China. That was all secret.”

Unable to answer, Harf resorted to the tired line that “just because you see the corruption doesn’t mean it’s not corruption.” When Watters pressed her with the simple question, “What was the Biden family business?” she had no credible response.

This exchange perfectly encapsulates the double standard that liberals like Harf use to shield the Biden family while relentlessly attacking Trump. Trump’s openness about the Qatar gift stands in stark contrast to the shadowy dealings and cover-ups surrounding the Bidens — yet left-wing defenders insist on muddying the waters with baseless accusations.

As this debate shows, conservative voices like Gutfeld and Watters are not only pushing back against dishonest narratives but are shining a spotlight on the corruption many in the mainstream media try to ignore. The American people deserve transparency and accountability — something Joe Biden’s defenders clearly don’t want to deliver.
