Elon Musk has once again pulled back the curtain on Washington’s corruption, this time exposing how George Soros and the Democrat machine use taxpayer-funded Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to manipulate the system and amass power.
During his February 28 appearance on *The Joe Rogan Experience*, Musk made waves when he expressed fears of being assassinated for revealing the full extent of D.C.’s corruption. But another revelation from that conversation has been largely ignored by the mainstream media—Musk’s breakdown of how NGOs are being used as a shadow government, funded by the American people and weaponized for leftist agendas.
Government-Funded “Non-Governmental” Organizations?
Musk didn’t hold back when discussing the absurdity of NGOs being propped up with government funds while still being called “non-governmental.”
“If you have a government-funded NGO, you’re simply a government-funded organization. It’s an oxymoron,” Musk said.
These so-called NGOs, he explained, serve as a loophole to bypass constitutional limits on government power. By pouring billions into these organizations, the federal government can sidestep restrictions and push radical policies without being held accountable.
One of the most shocking examples Musk pointed to was a brand-new NGO that suddenly received a staggering $1.9 billion in government funding. Though he didn’t name names, this was widely interpreted as a reference to Stacey Abrams’s EPA-funded organization—another Democrat cash grab under the guise of environmental activism.
“We saw one person getting $1.9 billion sent to their NGO, which was formed a year ago and had no prior activity,” Musk revealed.
A System Designed for Corruption
The problem isn’t just the existence of these taxpayer-funded NGOs—it’s what they do with the money. Musk explained how these organizations operate as slush funds for left-wing operatives, with their leaders pocketing enormous sums and carrying out actions the federal government could never legally do on its own.
“Government-funded NGOs are a way to do things that would be illegal if they were the government but are somehow made legal if sent to a so-called non-profit,” Musk explained. “People become very wealthy and pay themselves enormous sums through these non-profits.”
One prime example of this is Senator Sheldon Whitehouse’s (D-RI) wife, who reportedly profits from government-funded NGOs. The left has turned this system into a well-oiled machine, creating a network of interconnected organizations that move money around, influence elections, and push propaganda while staying just outside the reach of accountability.
George Soros: The Puppet Master Behind the Scenes
According to Musk, no one has exploited this system better than billionaire leftist financier George Soros.
“Soros is really good at this. He figured out how to hack the system, and he’s a genius at arbitrage,” Musk said.
Musk described how Soros uses minimal personal investment to gain control over massive amounts of government funding.
“He figured out you can use a small amount of money to create a non-profit, then lobby the politicians to send a ton of money to that non-profit so you can take what might be $10 million and leverage it into a billion-dollar NGO,” Musk explained.
In other words, Soros and his allies create activist organizations, get friendly politicians to flood them with taxpayer money, and then use that money to manipulate elections, influence policy, and maintain their grip on power.
The Left’s NGO Empire
Perhaps the most jaw-dropping revelation from Musk’s discussion was the sheer scale of this corrupt operation.
“We were covering this article about 55,000 Democrat NGOs that were contributing to campaigns, moving money around, and pushing propaganda,” Musk said. “They were all connected, and they found out through AI. It’s like 5 or 10% good, but 90 or 95% not.”
Let that sink in—55,000 Democrat-controlled NGOs, using taxpayer money to fund their own political machine. This is not democracy. This is a taxpayer-funded scheme to keep the left in power indefinitely.
The Fight to Expose and Dismantle the NGO Complex
The Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Musk, is working to expose and dismantle this system. But as Musk has warned, those entrenched in Washington’s corruption won’t go down without a fight.
The real question is: Will the American people wake up in time to stop them?
