# Trump’s Agriculture Secretary Shuts Down Biden’s Woke Spending Spree
In yet another victory against government waste and left-wing lunacy, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins has axed a taxpayer-funded contract that funneled money into a New York program “educating” transgender and queer farmers on so-called “food justice and food equality.” Even Rollins herself admitted she had no idea what the program was actually supposed to accomplish—other than wasting taxpayer dollars and appeasing radical activists.

“Let me just add to that, and thank you,” Rollins said in her remarks, discussing the administration’s effort to clean up government waste. “We just had a wonderful cabinet meeting, and we all aligned on the effort to realign the government. But even at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, we’ve canceled a $300,000 contract educating on ‘food justice’ for queer and transgender farmers in San Francisco.”
She went on to reveal that this was not an isolated case of ideological nonsense disguised as public policy.
“We canceled a similar contract in New York, again, educating transgender and queer farmers on food justice and food equality. I’m not even sure what that means,” she said. “But apparently, the last administration wanted to put our taxpayer dollars towards that.”
Rollins then exposed yet another absurd project—this one even more outrageous than the last.
“We canceled a $600,000 contract, out of Louisiana, that was studying the menstrual cycles of transgender men,” she said. “A $600,000 contract.”
Yes, you read that right. The Biden administration wasted over half a million dollars studying the nonexistent menstrual cycles of biological men.
Rollins continued to lay out more examples of the left’s insanity, revealing yet another absurdly woke grant:
“We canceled another contract out of a university in the middle of the country that focused on getting more diversity, equity, and inclusion into our pest management industry.”
Because, of course, nothing screams “pressing national concern” like ensuring proper pronoun usage in pest control.
The American people didn’t take this news lightly. A clip of Rollins’ speech was posted to X (formerly Twitter) on March 22, 2025, and the responses were nothing short of fiery.
One user summed up the sheer ridiculousness of the program, writing:
“I didn’t realize transgenders and queer farmers eat and farm differently than non-transgenders and straight farmers do.”
Another pointed out the blatant wastefulness of these programs:
