Elon Musk had a spat with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle on Wednesday after she criticized his decision to publish an unfavorable Hunter Biden meme.

Ruhle slammed Musk in response to the captioned photograph, which showed a male with several cameras strapped to his head and the phrase “Hunter Biden every time he buys crack and hookers.”

“Imagine the positive impact you could have on the world if you used the extraordinary amount of influence and power you have to spread decency, kindness and positivity?” tweeted the host of “The 11th Hour” on cable network MSNBC.

Musk shot back: “Imagine if MSNBC did that.”

The verbal altercation was just the latest in a long-running beef between Musk and MSNBC hosts.

Elon Musk went on a Twitter rampage in May, responding to a monologue by MSNBC personality Mehdi Hasan – who had labeled the billionaire’s now-abandoned $44 billion takeover bid an “unspeakably dangerous moment” and warned that it would give way to “the far right.”

“If that happens, we may look back on this week as a pivotal moment, when a petulant and not-so-bright billionaire casually bought one of the most influential messaging machines and just handed it to the far right,” said Hasan at the time.

Mr. Musk also noted that the network has neglected to cover The Washington Post’s reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop, its mishandling of the Harvey Weinstein tale, and the recent sexual misconduct scandal involving former “Today” co-host Matt Lauer.

“Same org that covered up Hunter Biden laptop story, had Harvey Weinstein story early & killed it & built Matt Lauer his rape office. Lovely people,” said Musk in a tweet that has since been deleted.

The Washington Post has attempted to contact MSNBC for comment on Musk’s comments.

On a different day, MSNBC anchor Joy Reid said Musk wanted to buy Twitter because he “misses” South Africa’s apartheid era.

Elon Musk, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO, has a much larger battle on his hands now that he’s backed out of a $44 billion buyout of Twitter last week. He was concerned about spam bots in the company’s user base as reported by The Wall Street Journal.

Twitter filed a lawsuit on Tuesday in a Delaware courtroom against the world’s richest man to enforce his original offer.
