Around noon on February 13, 2022, the Los Angeles Police Department responded quickly to look for Lindsey Pearlman, a television actress, and mother of three. After failing to find the brunette beauty, the LAPD issued a call to action for the public, urging all individuals in the Los Angeles region to keep their eyes and ears open as they search for the missing T.V. actress – but hours later, police announced that Pearlman was discovered dead in a canyon after all attempts had been made to locate her.

After discovering Pearlman’s remains in a remote canyon, the Los Angeles Police Department issued the following statement: “Today around 8:30 a.m., Hollywood Area officers responded to a radio call for a death investigation at Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue. The L.A. County Coroner’s Office has since confirmed the individual to be Lindsey Erin Pearlman. The cause of death will be determined by the coroner.”

Runyon Canyon Park is a well-known hiking site in California, especially in the Los Angeles region. The hiking trail is located north of Franklin and North Sierra Bonita Avenue, where police discovered the dead body of a young actress. It was an awful blow to her family and friends.

Hours after the LAPD issued their statement, Pearlman’s cousin Savannah Pearlman took to Twitter to confirm the tragedy. She wrote: “UPDATE: I’m deeply saddened to report that they have found Lindsey, and it was too late. I have no other information about the location or circumstance.”

After her death during the hike, several other family members spoke out on social media to express their sorrow and devastation.

Vance Smith, the husband of Pearlman, took to Instagram to express his grief to everyone who follows his postings: “The police found Lindsey. She’s gone. I’m broken.”

The LAPD has announced that the last known whereabouts of Pearlman were at the 1600 block of North Mariposa Avenue. They had previously released a statement asking for help finding her: “Pearlman failed to return home and has not been seen or heard from since. Friends and family fear for her safety.”

Since her family was extremely upset that she had vanished, they turned to social media platforms in order to get others involved in looking for her. The 43-year-old actor’s cousin wrote on Twitter, “Lindsey drives a dark silver 2015 Honda Fit. C.A. license plate # 8ASD502,” and also said her phone “last pinged on Sunset blvd.”

Police said that Pearlman was a 140-pound white woman who was five feet and nine inches tall. They added that she had brown eyes and brown hair.

Pearlman was a very active television actor, appearing frequently on General Hospital. She also acted in Chicago Justice, BET+’s The Ms. Pat Show Empire, Sneaky Pete, The Purge T.V. series, Selena: The Series, and most recently Vicious streamed on Urbanflix.
