4 boys were forced to face their fears as they saw a dog being tied up and left to die. Said boys, Kenneth, Andrew, Kevin, and Kenny – they just so happened to be brothers – were in the process of helping their neighbor move out of his home when they came across a dog that was tied up in front of a home (an abandoned one no less) and given no chance to live the remainder of its life.
The dog was left in a position where it had no option but to give up. Tied to a pole by a cord that it couldn’t bite through – it looked as if it knew that it would die there. The 4 brothers, upon seeing that the dog was left to die decided that it was up to them to do something. So they did. They knew that the wrong decision would’ve been for them to leave the dog there to fend for herself. Upon going over to the dog to release her, the brothers realized that she had been badly beaten. Sh had patches of fur missing from her coat as well as a cower; she was afraid of the world, and for good reason.
Despite the treatment the dog faced, she knew that the brothers didn’t mean her any harm so she allowed them to help her. Upon release, the brother decided it was best to call a rescue organization and have them take care of her. They did, however, form a bond with Sparkles (the name given to the dog) that lasted for quite some time. While the boys and Sparkles had become inseparable during their time with one another they were unable to adopt her as a pet and she stayed with the animal shelter. Her stay at the shelter didn’t last very long however, as she found a home just a few weeks after being admitted into the shelter.
These very same brothers did the same thing just a few months after finding sparkles. They ran into two other puppies who just so happened to be wandering around aimlessly and did what they knew to do, called the animal shelter once again. These pups were taken care of right away and are currently on board with Detroit Pit Crew and on their way to the vet to be checked over.
This just goes to show you that not everyone in the world is the same. While there are people who are momentarily bad, there are also several people who are good and have good hearts. Big shoutout to the four brothers, Kenny, Kevin, Andrew, and Kenneth for showing the world what it means to be good people.
