A toddler almost died after having a severe allergic reaction after eating dinner at a restaurant.

The family told the staff members that the child had food allergies. They ensured the family that the food did not have anything that the child was allergic to inside of it.

Kelly Chapman, who is the boy’s mother, told the waiter that he was allergic to coconut, wheat, dairy and eggs. Kelly’s son ate a hot dog and French fries. Unfortunately, the hot dogs had milk in them. Kelly’s son did not each much of his meal.

When the family paid the bill and got up to leave the restaurant, the boy started vomiting. The boy’s eyes got puffy, and his face started itching when he got home.

Kelly realized that her son was in anaphylactic shock. Fortunately, the family had an Epipen, and they were able to stop the most serious effects of the allergic reaction. They took the boy, whose name is Jack, to the emergency room. He ended up spending five hours at the hospital, but he is going to be okay.

Kelly says the whole ordeal was very scary. She posted a negative review of the restaurant on Facebook. The owner of the restaurant replied to Kelly’s review.

He stated that the restaurant has been open for 13 years, and that was the first time that someone had an allergic reaction. The owner also stated that Kelly should just eat at home if her son has food allergies.

Kelly is not happy with the response. She stated that the owner just made her feel like she is a nuisance.
