A Brazilian woman fell in love with an ugly ragdoll and married it. Now Meirivone Rocha Moraes is coming out to discuss how she “married” the doll and “had a baby” with her inanimate spouse. After complaining to her mother that she didn’t have anyone to love or dance with, Moraes’s mother invented Marcelo the ragdoll, and she has been infatuated ever since.

It was love at first sight for the 37-year-old Moraes. Her mother brought her a doll that she had created, and Moraes was instantly smitten.

When she was only a few months into their relationship, Moraes became “pregnant.” She chose to marry the ragdoll and permanently bind herself to it because it was sinful for her to give birth outside of wedlock. She held a wedding ceremony that was attended by approximately 250 people, including family and friends.

“From the moment I walked down the aisle to the end, it was just beautiful,” Moraes said about her wedding. “Then went to the wedding night with my husband Marcelo, and we enjoyed our wedding night a lot. He has so many great qualities, but the only downside is he’s lazy. He doesn’t work at all. But I am a warrior, and I keep it going for us.”

In May, Joice Moraes even booked a honeymoon for herself and her ragdoll husband, Marcelo. They went to a beach house in Rio de Janeiro, where they waited for the birth of their child.

“It’s true, Marcelo got me pregnant. He didn’t take care of himself, and he didn’t use a condom. He got me pregnant. I took the test – it was positive. I couldn’t believe it.”

When the newlyweds returned from their honeymoon, Moraes “gave birth” in her home. The birth took only 35 minutes. On site was a doctor and nurse. She also live-streamed the entire thing to about two hundred spectators who watched attentively and eagerly.

Despite the fact that Moraes is pleased with her ragdoll family, she is struggling to make ends meet since she has a job.

“It was a wonderful day for me, very important, very emotional,” she said. “He is a man I always wanted in my life. Married life with him is wonderful. He doesn’t fight with me, he doesn’t argue, and he just understands me. Marcelo is a great and faithful husband. He is such a man, and all women envy him.”

She continued, “When my mum made Marcelo and first introduced me to him, I fell in love with him. It was love at first sight. It was because I didn’t have a forró dancer. I would go to these dances but wouldn’t always find a partner. Then he entered into my life, and it all made sense. The wedding was a wonderful day for me, very important, very emotional. It rained a lot, but it was wonderful.”

On May 21, 2022, Marcella was born as a ragdoll baby to a popular police family in Brazil. She gained weight during her “pregnancy,” and on May 21, 2022, she delivered her and her husband’s ragdoll child, Marcelinho. According to the new mother, the toy baby’s “birth” was pain-free.
