In yet another bitter and bizarre outburst, failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris lashed out at President Donald Trump over his decision to privately fund the construction of a new White House Ballroom — a project with zero cost to taxpayers. The rant, laced with profanity and hypocrisy, has quickly gone viral as yet another example of how far the former vice president has fallen since losing the 2024 election.
Harris, still seething from her humiliating defeat, claimed during an interview with former late-night host Jon Stewart that Trump was “building a ballroom for his rich friends” while Americans supposedly suffer under the government shutdown. What she neglected to mention, of course, is that the shutdown was caused by Democrats, who have repeatedly refused to pass a clean spending bill unless it includes billions in funding for illegal immigrants’ healthcare and other far-left priorities.
“Are you f**king kidding me?” Harris snapped. “This guy wants to create a ballroom for his rich friends while completely turning a blind eye to the fact that babies are going to starve when SNAP benefits end in just hours from now.”
Her meltdown didn’t end there. In a tone more fit for a college protest than a former vice president, Harris continued: “Come on. So what I’m not going to be distracted by? Oh, does the guy have a big f***ing hammer? What about those babies, right?”
It’s unclear what “hammer” she was referring to, but the unhinged comment drew widespread mockery online. One viral post summed it up perfectly: “Kamala Harris complains that President Trump is building a ballroom at the White House while SNAP benefits are expiring. He’s literally paying for the ballroom out of pocket, and the benefits are expiring because her party shut the government down.”
In sharp contrast to Harris’ hysterics, President Trump calmly explained the project on Truth Social, emphasizing that it is entirely privately funded and meant to enhance the White House for future generations.
“I am pleased to announce that ground has been broken on the White House grounds to build the new, big, beautiful White House Ballroom,” Trump wrote. “Completely separate from the White House itself, the East Wing is being fully modernized as part of this process, and will be more beautiful than ever when it is complete! For more than 150 years, every president has dreamt about having a Ballroom at the White House to accommodate people for grand parties, State Visits, etc.”
He continued: “I am honored to be the first President to finally get this much-needed project underway — with zero cost to the American taxpayer! The White House Ballroom is being privately funded by many generous Patriots, Great American Companies, and, yours truly. This Ballroom will be happily used for generations to come!”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also clarified that the project will finally solve a long-standing issue: hosting major diplomatic events. “Currently, the White House must erect an unsightly tent 100 yards from the main entrance to host state dinners and official functions. The new ballroom will eliminate that problem and restore dignity to the process,” Leavitt explained.
Naturally, Democrats like Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) immediately vowed to destroy the ballroom if they ever regain power. Swalwell fumed on X, “Don’t even think of seeking the Democratic nomination for president unless you pledge to take a wrecking ball to the Trump Ballroom on DAY ONE.”
It’s a revealing contrast: while President Trump builds, Democrats promise to tear things down — literally. Harris’s profanity-laden meltdown isn’t just embarrassing; it’s symbolic of a party that has lost all perspective.
Trump is focused on restoring American pride and legacy, while Harris and her allies are stuck in permanent tantrum mode. The ballroom may soon stand as more than a venue for state dinners — it will stand as a monument to American renewal, built in spite of the Left’s hatred and hysteria.
