President Donald J. Trump isn’t just fighting Democrats these days — he’s cleaning house within the Republican Party. And now, his latest target is a name that has long frustrated the America First movement: Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY).
In a bold and unprecedented move, the Trump campaign has officially launched the “Kentucky PAC” — a clear signal that Massie’s days in Congress may be numbered. This is Trump’s first full-scale effort to primary a sitting Republican, and according to campaign officials Chris LaCivita and Tony Fabrizio, it won’t be the last if other so-called conservatives keep stabbing the movement in the back.
Massie’s latest offense? Voting against President Trump’s proposed defense of American interests with targeted strikes on Iran — the same Iran that chants “Death to America” while building nukes under the table. And it didn’t stop there. Massie also tried to undercut the president’s authority by pushing legislation to weaken executive war powers — essentially tying the commander-in-chief’s hands in times of crisis.
President Trump didn’t hold back, taking to Truth Social with his signature clarity and fire:
“GET THIS ‘BUM’ OUT OF OFFICE, ASAP!!!”
He continued, “Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky is not MAGA… He is a negative force who almost always Votes ‘NO,’ no matter how good something may be.” Trump went on to call out Massie for what many grassroots conservatives have long suspected — that the Kentucky congressman is more interested in virtue signaling and faux-libertarian grandstanding than actually fighting for American greatness.
“He’s a simple-minded grandstander… weak, ineffective, and votes ‘NO’ on virtually everything. MAGA should drop this pathetic LOSER, Tom Massie, like the plague!”
Massie, unsurprisingly, tried to spin his opposition as some noble constitutional crusade, saying the strikes were “not Constitutional” and quipping, “This is not our war.” But Trump’s response cut through the noise: “Massie thinks it’s good politics for Iran to have the highest-level Nuclear weapon, while yelling ‘DEATH TO AMERICA.’” The president added, “We had a spectacular military success… but this lightweight Congressman is, as usual, against what was brilliantly achieved last night in Iran.”
Trump was just getting warmed up. He compared Massie to a knockoff of Senator Rand Paul — but without the consistency or the courage. “Massie is weak, ineffective, and disrespectful to our great military… He’s just another grandstander, too much trouble and not worth the fight.”
But make no mistake — Trump is ready to win this one.
“The good news is that we will have a wonderful American Patriot running against him in the Republican Primary,” Trump declared. “I’ll be out in Kentucky campaigning really hard. MAGA is not about lazy, nonproductive politicians… of which Thomas Massie is definitely one.”
The message is crystal clear: MAGA isn’t a slogan — it’s a movement with standards. And Thomas Massie no longer meets them.
“MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”
