im Walz, the Democrats’ forgettable 2024 vice-presidential nominee, is quickly learning what conservatives already knew: America wasn’t buying what he was selling. The failed VP candidate has become the butt of his own household jokes — literally — after revealing during a recent town hall that even his 18-year-old son mocks him for getting trounced by President Trump.

Walz made the bizarre confession during a March 27 town hall in Fort Bend, Texas — part of what can only be described as a political “redemption tour” where he’s desperately trying to salvage his relevance post-election. The Minnesota governor and DNC foot soldier has been bouncing from stage to stage, attempting to rally support for the next four years of left-wing resistance, but it’s hard to take him seriously when he can’t even get respect at the dinner table.

“I got an 18-year-old, Gus… and I’m having one of those Dad talks with him,” Walz told the audience. “In the middle of it, he gives me the old, ‘Says the guy who got his *ss kicked by Donald Trump.’”

Needless to say, it didn’t go over well — and conservatives on social media pounced, delivering a merciless digital roast.

“Just imagine where your IQ level is if this is the guy you drive somewhere to listen to talk intellectually,” one commenter joked. Another said, “Proof yet again they had to work hard to find a VP candidate dumber than their presidential candidate.”

The left’s attempts to spin Walz as a “relatable dad” fell flat, especially when paired with his bizarre admission that his son takes jabs at him for being politically humiliated on the national stage. It didn’t help that this is the same guy who, just weeks ago, tried to take a swipe at Elon Musk and ended up looking even more petty.

During a previous DNC town hall, Walz quipped, “I added Tesla to [my iPhone stock app] to give me a little boost during the day — $225 and dropping… You can take dental floss and pull the Tesla thing off.” Translation: he doesn’t like Musk, probably because Musk speaks freely, employs 80,000 Americans, and doesn’t toe the liberal line.

CNN contributor Shermichael Singleton, not exactly a MAGA mouthpiece, even piled on: “Tim Walz is a complete moron to me. I have to be very honest, and I’m not surprised why the American people did not choose him.”

What’s painfully clear is that Walz represents the Democratic Party’s growing credibility crisis. After years of peddling COVID lockdowns, identity politics, and climate alarmism, voters overwhelmingly rejected the Biden-Walz ticket. And now, in the political wilderness, Walz is desperately trying to stay relevant by cracking self-deprecating jokes — hoping humor will distract from the disaster of 2024.

Unfortunately for him, conservatives haven’t forgotten — and neither, apparently, has his own son.

While Walz hosts pity-party town halls and swipes at successful entrepreneurs like Musk, America is moving forward under the leadership of a president who puts the country first. If this is the best the Democrats have for 2028, the GOP has nothing to worry about.

In the meantime, maybe someone should check in on Gus — sounds like he’s the most clear-headed person in the Walz household.
