There’s something genuinely moving about witnessing a father and his daughter perform on stage. I know that as a member of the audience, they put their heart and soul into the endeavor, and they deserve every bit of our attention since the father has been working with his little girl to get to the point of performance. However, when this father-daughter duo sang “Papa What If,” they showed that they were better than average.

Rory and Indy Feek are the singing sensations. Although Father’s Day has passed, we at AWM think that fathers and mothers should be celebrated all year long – and grandparents. These people go above and above to ensure that children have a wonderful life full of activities and enjoyment.

Rory Feek is the father of Indiana, whom everyone knows as Indy. He delivered her into the world with his wife’s unwavering support and assistance. Rory has two older children from a previous relationship, but they get along well.

On this past Father’s Day, the lovely Indy went above and beyond to surprise her father with a gift. She woke him up from his bed, where he was just catching a few more minutes of sleep, and surprised him with a card for national day. She also gave her father a card and a present along with a big grin in thanks for being such an excellent dad to her and her sisters.

Rory wanted to do something she had never done before: sing with her father. Rory was eager to grab his guitar and sit in front of the camera to perform one of their favorite songs for their followers on social media after he awoke and brushed his teeth for the day.

The song, known as “Daddy, What If,” is by Shel Silverstein. He’s the creator of novels such as Where the Sidewalk Ends and Lafcadio. He’s also the brains behind The Giving Tree, which has sold millions of copies and is still popular today throughout generations.

Rory helped Indy learn to sing Daddy What If by printing out the lyrics and encouraging her to add doodles and drawings to the paper.

However, Indy wanted to alter the words from Daddy to Papa because that’s what she calls her father. The pair practiced the song many times, and Indy was soon able to sing it accurately with her father on guitar.

Unfortunately, Indy’s mother died in 2016. Rory, on the other hand, sees her presence in his daughter and enjoys performing together since it reminds him of the times he spent with his late wife.

Take the time to watch this performance by an outstanding father-daughter team who posted their work on YouTube.
