Did you know that Snoopy has a secret twin?
The internet is abuzz with a pup who has garnered attention for its uncanny likeness to everyone’s beloved cartoon canine: Snoopy from “Peanuts!” This pooch is the real-life edition of this iconic character.
With her two black ears and prominent black snout, Bayley – a Mini Sheepadoodle of white coat speckled with patches of sooty-black – is an uncanny replica of Snoopy!
This week, the sheepadoodle has been stealing the limelight after Doodles Dog Club compared it to a cartoon dog and announced that this pup was becoming an Internet sensation!
“Meet Bayley.sheepadoodle, the spitting image of Snoopy,” reads the caption of the video – in just a few days, this post has earned over 1 million likes – an incredible achievement. “With those big ears and that button nose, Bayley is the perfect real-life version of our favorite cartoon dog.”
Bayley.sheepdog, the beloved account that features a twin of Snoopy and has amassed over 157,000 followers as of Thursday morning, is charming dog lovers from all across the globe by sharing delightful photos and videos with entertaining sound effects playing in the background!
This Tuesday, the owners of Bayley celebrated National Pet Day by posting a video of their pooch giving “paw” along with an accompanying caption “Happy National Pet Day. Mom says I am the cutest pet she has ever seen but to be fair, I am her first and only furbaby.”
Bayley, a two-year-old pup based in the United States with her birthday falling on May 4th, has an account that dates back to October 2022.
The Miniature Sheepadoodle, a blend of an Old English Sheepdog and Mini Poodle, stands at approximately 20 inches tall and can weigh up to 45 pounds according to Premier pups – the leading adoption agency for these cuddly companions.
“Kind, cuddly, merry, and gentle, Mini Sheepadoodle puppies are truly sweethearts,” the breed’s profile states. “They are generous in affection, attentive, obedient, and love to impress their human family by any means.”
Last November, a post broke the internet with its images of what seem to be Bayley’s “pawrents”: one black-brown Poodle and one white-grey Sheepdog. And then there was an image of the doggo that looks just like Snoopy!
The beloved beagle, Snoopy, who first graced the pages of the “Peanuts” comic strip in 1950 soon found his way onto our television screens and movie theaters. But perhaps most notably each year, he is featured as a flagship balloon in New York’s iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Bayley’s posts have garnered a plethora of comments, with many remarking on their furry friend’s adorableness – even from other pooches’ accounts!
“Can confirm, you’re pretty darn cute,” stated Poppy, the Leggy Italian Greyhound.
“Snoopy! You’re real!” wrote another user.
