Don’t you think this should be listed in the Guinness Book of Records?
In comparison to many of the other nurses, Katie Carlton, Sabrina Hudson, Bethany Stringer, Nikki Huth, Nina Day and Michelle Dominguez actually have a lot in common.
For example, they’re all friends who are acquainted with one another. Second, they’re all nurses. Third, they operate at the same hospital.
However, and most significantly, all of them are expecting their first child.
It’s an exceptionally fantastic and thrilling time when two pals are expecting kids at the same time. However, it has become even more unique and memorable now that the expectant mother train includes six pals.
“Honesty, this experience is one of the coolest I have ever seen,” said Carlton to TODAY. “I was kind of waiting to see who the next person to get pregnant would be after we all knew that five of us were expecting babies”.
Hudson and Carlton are no strangers to pregnancy, having previously experienced it twice. This opportunity is important since they have been able to offer their professional expertise in the form of advice on going through pregnancy and becoming a parent to other nurses who will be parents or first-time moms.
“I definitely feel a sense of comfort through all this. A lot of the time, I have a lot of stuff running through my mind, and I have so many questions, stuff like ‘Is this a normal occurrence. ’ and ‘What is going on now. ’ However, I’ve found that since I am able to communicate with other nurses that have gone through this phase of life before, I am able to feel better and more relaxed about it all,” Johnson said.
Because you now have a community of friends who are going through something comparable to yours, it’s easy to feel better. These ladies have demonstrated this by showing how helpful it is having a small network of people who are also experiencing the same thing.
“Pregnancy is always a fun experience, but this one is even more fun because I am able to go through it with a lot of my close friends. I feel it is awesome for me to have a community of people that I can talk to and lean on about any fears that I might be having,” said Huth.
The due dates for these expecting moms range from July 31 to December 12, with some being quite close. However, there’s no need to be concerned, as the nurses have reassured their patients that the hospital will have enough medical personnel on hand should anything unexpected happen.
“There have already been provisions put in place to ensure that the needs of our patents are taken care of. Also, the six of us won’t be on maternity leave at the same time,” added Hudson.
Their patents have dubbed them the “Fabulous Six-Pack,” and all of them love to discuss them.
Carlton stated, “Some of them ask if there’s something in the water. The scenario intrigues people a lot, and it provides them with something to focus on while they are here”
They’re all ecstatic to be a part of this adventure.
Hudson stated, “It might not be rare for people to be pregnant together. We’re just excited about the prospect of sharing play dates and all that. I think we’ll still share other milestones when the pregnancies are over.
Congratulations to all these expecting mothers.
