Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), a proud America First conservative, took to the Senate floor Wednesday, October 8, with a fiery message that’s resonating across the heartland: it’s time to *ban Sharia law in the United States* before it corrodes the nation’s freedoms and values — just as it has done in parts of Europe.

The Alabama senator’s speech came as two House Republicans push a companion bill in the House of Representatives, aiming to make it illegal for any U.S. court or jurisdiction to recognize Sharia or any other foreign legal system that conflicts with the Constitution. Tuberville’s message was clear — America is at a crossroads, and ignoring the growing threat of radical ideologies is no longer an option.

“Let’s be clear about this,” Tuberville began firmly. “The thousands of terrorists we have allowed to enter our country have brought their anti-American rhetoric and ideology with them. We’re seeing this in cities like Minneapolis, Dearborn, Portland, Chicago, and even New York City.”

He pointed out that this dangerous worldview isn’t just infiltrating major cities — it’s creeping into American politics itself. “The leading candidate for mayor in New York City is a far-left Socialist who sympathizes with extremist groups like Hamas,” Tuberville said. “But this insanity isn’t limited to New York. We have elected members of Congress who openly support the radical Islamic terrorist organization Hamas.”

While Tuberville didn’t name names, the examples were obvious — Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and others who have made headlines for inflammatory remarks about Israel and the United States. “It’s almost hard to believe, but it’s true,” Tuberville said. “We’re allowing people with extremist ideologies, people who hate American values, to not only live here but to hold positions of power and influence our government. It’s un-American. And it’s an insult to the millions of Americans who have sacrificed their lives for this country and its freedom.”

The senator then turned his attention overseas, warning that the same ideology has already taken root in Western Europe — and that the results are catastrophic. “If you think this poisonous ideology won’t affect your way of life, just look at Europe,” Tuberville said. “The United Kingdom has essentially lost its identity. Mass migration has destroyed their society. There is no freedom of speech, crime is through the roof, and openly antisemitic, pro-Hamas riots have become a regular occurrence.”

The senator’s message to Americans was blunt: *Don’t think it can’t happen here.* “If we aren’t careful, the United States will look like Europe in ten years or less,” he warned. “It’s coming. We can’t bury our heads in the sand about this any longer.”

Tuberville then highlighted a humanitarian crisis that the mainstream media and the Biden administration have all but ignored — the slaughter of Christians in Africa by radical Islamic terrorists. “You won’t hear from Democrats about how radical Islamic terrorists are currently carrying out a mass genocide of Christians in Nigeria,” he said. “More than 62,000 Christians have been slaughtered since 2000. And this year alone, more than 7,000 Nigerian Christians have been murdered because of their faith alone.”

Tuberville’s warning went beyond foreign policy — it was a call to defend America’s moral and cultural foundations. “This extreme ideology is straight from the pit of hell, and it has no place in American society,” he said. “We are blessed that freedom of worship is a Constitutionally guaranteed right in this country. That’s what our forefathers fought for. But if you believe that Sharia law supersedes American law, you should be deported immediately.”

His message was unapologetically patriotic — and unapologetically Christian. “If we don’t take a stand now, our way of life, our Christian values, our freedoms, and our national identity will disappear. There is only room for one law in this country, and that’s the Constitution of the United States of America.”

Tuberville applauded Texas for taking action to ban Sharia law within its borders and urged other states to follow suit. “Sharia law is anti-American and has no place in a free society,” he said. “Texas has already taken action, and I commend them. Other states should follow. We must protect American values — not apologize for them.”

He concluded with a sobering warning — and a rallying cry for unity. “So, the question is: will we continue down this path and end up like Europe?” Tuberville asked. “Now is the time to act, because if we don’t, we will lose this country as we know it. This isn’t about Republicans or Democrats. It’s about America. And we must send a loud, clear message that we will not tolerate Sharia law in this country. Not now, not ever.”

At a time when the Biden administration seems more concerned about appeasing the radical left than defending Western values, Tuberville’s speech was a powerful reminder of what’s at stake. The senator didn’t mince words: America’s freedom, faith, and future depend on whether its leaders have the courage to stand up and defend them — before it’s too late.
