Kamala Harris is back — and just as unhinged as ever. During a chaotic book tour stop in Los Angeles, the former vice president lashed out at President Trump and his administration, calling them “crazy” while promoting her memoir, *107 Days* — a tell-all about her failed 2024 presidential bid. The comments sparked a wave of laughter, mockery, and a swift takedown from the White House that left Harris looking even more rattled.

The event, part of what Harris awkwardly dubbed her “Freedom Tour,” was meant to rehabilitate her public image and sell books. Instead, it reminded Americans why voters soundly rejected her — a politician long known more for her nervous laughter than her leadership. At one point, Harris blurted, “There’s so much about this moment that is making people feel like they’ve lost their minds. When, in fact, these mother—ers are crazy.”

That outburst was enough to draw fire from the Trump White House. Spokesman Kush Desai delivered a scathing — and hilarious — response: “Kamala Harris should listen to an audio recording of her cackle of a laugh before calling anyone crazy.” His remark echoed Trump’s famous nickname for her, “Laughing Kamala,” a label that stuck throughout the 2024 campaign as Harris’s tone-deaf chuckles went viral every time she tried to discuss serious issues.

President Trump himself couldn’t resist getting in a few jabs. Speaking to reporters, he joked, “She’s worse than Bernie Sanders. Now, she’s trying to come back. I noticed she got rid of the laugh — haven’t seen it lately. That laugh? That’s a laugh of a crazy person. But somebody must’ve told her, ‘Don’t laugh. Just don’t laugh under any circumstances.’”

Harris, for her part, tried to use the stage to recast herself as a “freedom fighter,” claiming her memoir was about “helping people put a label on their emotions” and “writing history.” But the message fell flat. Even some liberal commentators noted the event felt more like therapy than leadership.

And the oddities didn’t stop there. In another recent interview on ABC’s *The View*, Harris bizarrely claimed to have had a “mole” inside Fox News’ election war room during the 2024 campaign. The mole, she said, warned her husband Doug Emhoff that the data coming in from Pennsylvania showed she was losing — even as her team insisted the state was locked down.

Recalling the conversation, Harris said, “Doug told me that he had been out campaigning with my brother-in-law in Pennsylvania… there was so much enthusiasm. People on the ground were like, ‘We got it!’ Then they talked with a mutual friend of ours who was over at Fox News in the war room, who had been hearing data that suggested things were not looking great in Pennsylvania.”

The anecdote, meant to humanize her, instead raised eyebrows — not least because Harris seemed to casually admit that her campaign had inside information from a supposedly neutral newsroom.

Once again, Kamala Harris proved why Americans never took her seriously: she can’t stay on message, can’t resist playing the victim, and still hasn’t learned when to stop talking. As Trump’s spokesman quipped, before Harris calls anyone “crazy,” she might want to take a long, hard listen to her own greatest hits — preferably starting with that infamous cackle.
