Robert Redford is a well-liked actor in the film industry. He has appeared in numerous blockbusters and is recognized for his fiery red hair and outstanding skill. Mr. Redford’s son, James, died at his house in Marin County, California, today after an illness. He was 58 years old.

James’ wife, Kyle, announced his death to the public. She said that he had been fighting bile-duct cancer since November of last year and tragically lost the battle.

For decades, James had been suffering from a variety of health issues. During the 1990s, he was diagnosed with an uncommon auto-immune disease known as primary sclerosing cholangitis and received two liver transplants to assist his body battle the illness.

Two years ago, he was diagnosed with cancer for the third time and made the decision to have another transplant. However, during a checkup before the surgery, doctors found that cancer had returned.

Kyle paid a beautiful tribute to her deceased spouse. “As his wife of 32 yrs, I’m most grateful for the two spectacular children we raised. I don’t know what we would’ve done w/o them over the past 2yrs.”

Additionally, a spokesperson for Robert Redford released the following statement: “The grief is immeasurable with the loss of a child. Jamie was a loving son, husband, and father. His legacy lives on through his children, art, filmmaking, and devoted passion to conservation and the environment.”

James’s wife Kyle and two children, actress Lena and 29-year-old actor son Dylan survive him.
