In what can only be described as another desperate attempt by the left-wing media to smear President Trump and his administration, Vox published a laughable report claiming that “transgender Americans are fleeing the country” because of what it calls “the most anti-LGBTQ+ president in history.”
Yes, you read that right — according to the same crowd that thinks there are 97 genders, transgender individuals are allegedly packing their bags and running for the hills because President Trump had the audacity to restore common sense to federal policy.
Vox’s hit piece accuses the Trump administration of “hostility” toward the LGBTQ lobby, pointing to his campaign’s refusal to embrace so-called “radical gender ideology.” Apparently, saying that children shouldn’t undergo irreversible medical procedures and that biological males shouldn’t compete in women’s sports is now considered “hate speech” by the far-left.
The outlet clutched its pearls over a Trump campaign ad that drew a simple — and effective — contrast: “Kamala is for they/them. Trump is for you.” It was a jab at the absurd identity politics that dominate today’s Democratic Party. But Vox treated the line as evidence of “bigotry,” proving once again that humor and truth are kryptonite to the woke media.
Vox went on to cite Katie Sosin, a reporter from a leftist outlet called *The 19th*, who accused Trump of being “the most anti-LGBTQ+ president in history.” That’s a particularly bold claim considering that, under actual history, members of the LGBTQ community faced criminalization and discrimination decades before Trump ever took office.
According to Sosin, Trump “really campaigned on anti-trans issues” in 2024 and made them “a staple of his administration.” Her “evidence”? The administration’s decision to roll back taxpayer-funded gender treatments for minors, reinstate military readiness policies that prevent confusion in combat units, and require accurate biological data on federal identification documents. In other words, restoring sanity and protecting taxpayer dollars.
Sosin then veered into the absurd, claiming that transgender people are “unsafe” because the Trump administration no longer allows “gender marker changes” on passports. She insisted that the federal government’s insistence on truthful documentation — marking male or female — somehow constitutes “danger” and even accused officials of “seizing documents,” without offering a shred of proof.
Her conclusion was straight out of a dystopian fantasy: that transgender Americans are “preparing to flee the country.” Vox published that line without irony — as if the United States under Trump were some kind of authoritarian regime rather than the freest nation on Earth.
What the article really reveals isn’t persecution — it’s the fragility of the woke elite. For years, they’ve grown accustomed to controlling the language, rewriting the rules, and forcing their ideology onto everyone else. Now, faced with a president who refuses to bow to their demands, they’re melting down — again.
President Trump’s position has been clear: America welcomes everyone, but it won’t sacrifice truth, biology, or children’s well-being on the altar of political correctness. If a few activists can’t handle that and want to “flee,” maybe that says more about them than about the country they’re leaving behind.
