However, recent reports indicate that Keanu Reeves has proposed to his longtime partner, Alexandra Grant, allegedly following a discussion he had with his good friend and actress Sandra Bullock.
The pair made their relationship public as they strolled down the red carpet of the LACMA Art + Film Gala arm in arm. The occasion occurred in Los Angeles, California, this November.
Despite the fact that the pair has been dating for a long time, they have yet to make any public comments regarding the speculations.
However, there appears to be proof that it is true. On March 31, 2022, Keanu was allegedly seen shopping for diamond rings in Los Angeles, according to a photo published by TMZ.
According to OK! Magazine, “Keanu popped the question after they returned home from Europe, where he was filming back-to-back movies, and she was there the whole time to support him.” The friend added, “That’s when he realized he can’t live without her. It was a heart-to-heart with Sandra (Bullock) that finally inspired him to put a ring on it.”
According to a source who is very close to Keanu, “Keanu’s been to hell and back but now he finally has this wonderful woman to share his life with. Alexandra is a huge light in his life. Everyone can see how she fills him with joy.”
Actress Jennifer Tilly, who is a friend of the couple, stated that they had been together for a long time before their relationship became public. She told Page Six, “I remember a couple years ago, about a year and a half ago, [Alexandra] said, ‘Keanu Reeves is my boyfriend’ and I’m like, ‘Wait. What? What? What?’ She was so cool I thought she was a lesbian.”
Jennifer continued, “It’s really astonishing to me how in the last five months, all of a sudden, she goes to an event with him and everybody goes insane, like, ‘It’s his new girlfriend,’ because she had gone to a lot of events with him. It just suddenly surfaced that he’s been dating her for several years.”
It’s possible that the pair will not make a public announcement if they are still dating. They have kept the bulk of their four-year relationship a secret since they first started dating.
