The plane’s tragic end was marked by alarming reports of severe weather conditions. FlightRadar24’s data revealed a vertical speed of up to 24,000 feet per minute in the final moments, while meteorological reports confirmed ice formation in the area. However, aviation expert Lito Sousa suggested that while weather might have played a role, it could not fully explain the plane’s catastrophic failure. Sousa hinted at the possibility of a loss of control, with the aircraft entering a flat spin from which recovery was impossible.
This catastrophe has cast a shadow over Brazil, reminding us of the fragility of life and the critical importance of rigorous safety standards in aviation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families as they navigate this profound loss. As investigations continue, the nation remains united in grief and reflection.
