In yet another example of the radical Left spiraling out of control, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is facing major backlash after making what many interpreted as thinly veiled threats against tech mogul Elon Musk — and Attorney General Pam Bondi isn’t letting her off the hook.
The firestorm began when Crockett joined a video call with the extremist group “Tesla Takedown,” a so-called “peaceful protest platform” that urges Tesla owners to dump their cars and shares — all in an effort to damage the company financially. While the group claims to be nonviolent, its supporters have already been linked to harassment campaigns and attacks targeting Tesla facilities.
During the call, Crockett made a jaw-dropping statement:
“On March 29, it’s my birthday. All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.”
That comment sparked immediate concerns from lawmakers and law enforcement officials, who saw it as a blatant call to action against Musk — one of the few high-profile business leaders unafraid to challenge the liberal status quo.
Doubling down, Crockett also said, “There is only one language that the people that are in charge understand right now, and that language is money.” It was a not-so-subtle nod to Tesla Takedown’s strategy of financial sabotage.
Realizing she may have gone too far, Crockett frantically tried to walk back her words during a softball interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell. She sputtered:
“I have never promoted violence whatsoever… This is not about violence.”
Then, in typical leftist fashion, she pivoted to blaming January 6 and attacking Trump supporters:
“Pam Bondi, if you have an issue with terrorism, maybe you should talk to your boss about locking back up those guys that he let out that participated in January 6.”
But Bondi wasn’t having it. Appearing on national television, the no-nonsense attorney general slammed Crockett’s dangerous rhetoric:
“Now you have this Congresswoman — calling for attacks on Elon Musk on her birthday? She needs to tread very carefully!”
Bondi continued:
“She is an elected public official. She doesn’t get to spew violent, inflammatory nonsense and hide behind political spin. The Department of Justice is looking into this very seriously.”
Bondi also made it clear that Tesla owners — regular Americans who simply bought a car — are now being targeted by radical activists with Democrat allies cheering them on from Capitol Hill.
“Nothing will happen to Elon Musk,” Bondi stated defiantly. “And we’re going to fight to protect all Tesla owners in this country. Domestic terrorism is going to come to a stop.”
This is the latest in a disturbing trend where radical Democrats openly attack political opponents while pretending to champion “peace” and “democracy.” Elon Musk’s crime? Promoting free speech, standing up to leftist narratives, and refusing to bend the knee to the Biden regime’s allies.
Crockett’s meltdown — and Bondi’s sharp response — highlights the growing divide between common-sense Americans who want safety and stability, and leftist politicians who’d rather stoke chaos than take responsibility for their dangerous words.
