OJ Simpson was well-known before his involvement in the murder of his ex-wife and her friend caused him to become a national figure. Despite the fact that he was not convicted of those charges, Simpson subsequently served substantial time after attempting to steal memorabilia as part of a plot. Now out of prison, Simpson is learning the ins and outs of social media. His most recent efforts include a Christmas photo on Twitter, where he displayed his decorations, which included a Christmas tree and a reindeer headgear.

However, OJ fans were shocked to notice something in the background of the photograph. On a prominent location on his bookshelf, OJ Simpson placed Donald Trump’s red MAGA hat, which has shocked people who thought he was avoiding American politics or supporting Trump.

Many people were taken aback that Simpson was a Trump supporter, especially given the violence Trump sparked at the US Capitol. Others, however, were not shocked. Many even alluded to the legal issues that surrounded both men.

“Why are y’all surprised that this man is a Trump supporter,” one person said.

“Yeah, OJ is canceled,” another person added.

A third person stated: “Imagine telling someone ten years Ago OJ was going to be canceled for having a Donald Trump hat on his shelf in a Christmas Picture.”

He was a film star and an NFL legend before he became known for murdering his wife and her friend. After a successful career in football, Simpson shifted to television and film, where he has appeared in several prominent films, including The Naked Gun series.

In criminal court, O.J. Simpson was acquitted of murdering Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman, but he was convicted in a civil case for both murders. However, the punitive measures imposed by the court were not as severe as those desired by the victims’ families.

In 2007, karma caught up with O.J. Simpson again when he was arrested in Las Vegas for armed robbery and kidnapping while on a “juicy” shopping trip. While in Las Vegas, Simpson went on a spending spree, prompting him to be arrested for armed robbery and kidnapping. He was attempting to get memorabilia that he believed belonged to him despite common sense telling him otherwise. After a year in jail, he was convicted and sentenced to 33 years in prison. He had to serve at least nine years, which he did. On July 20, 2017, after complaining about his health and other concerns throughout his sentence, he was released on parole midway through Trump’s term.

Now, Simpson is attempting to establish himself as a famous figure. He’s established a Twitter account in the hopes of capitalizing on his internet presence, much like other celebrities including the President. However, with his raunchy criminal past and the charges against his ex-wife and her friend, Simpson’s tweets have proven to be more inflammatory than he anticipated.
