Clarkson is the nation’s sweetheart. She has not only won the popular vote in America Idol’s first season and gone on to become one of the most successful vocal phenomena in recent decades, but she has also cemented her position in American pop culture by being invited to a talk show. Despite Clarkson’s outstanding success, her family life is deteriorating — and now a judge has ruled against her, as she goes through an acrimonious divorce from ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.

She took her case to court and had it heard before a judge, in an attempt to get Blackstock evicted from one of Clarkson’s properties in Montana. Despite the awful things he is accused of having done to Clarkson throughout their years’ long relationship, the judge sided with Blackstock over her.

“Kelly recently had a major legal setback in a bid to get Brandon evicted from the Montana property that the judge awarded solely to her,” a source told. “He has been living in it and said he doesn’t have the financial means to afford to purchase a residence of his own at this time, citing the unresolved financial aspect of their divorce.”

Although the property is solely in Clarkson’s name, Blackstock wants to reside there since he has decided to devote his life to ranching. He can be a content man doing what he loves with anybody he chooses as long as he has access to Clarkson’s ranch in the Wild West.

A judge previously ruled that Blackstock does not have authority over Clarkson’s $10.4 million Montana ranch, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The site of the former marital home on which they built a new house is currently leased out to someone else.

Despite this court’s decision, Blackstock continues to live on the Montana ranch, fulfilling his ambition of being a rancher. That is why Clarkson took him to court in order to have him evicted from the property since it is rightfully his. Clarkson has requested that Blackstock leave the Montana ranch many times, but he has always refused and stayed there against her wishes.

Clarkson, the court ruled, was the only owner of Vintage Valley Ranch in Montana, but she has been unable to use her own property since Blackstock continues to live there against her will. Nonetheless, despite this fact, the judge sided with the male partner.

“The judge sided with Brandon and ruled in his favor. The order just hasn’t been formally signed off on,” the insider added.

The ranch, according to estimates, costs $81,000 each month to maintain. Not only is Clarkson expected to pay the sum since she is the owner, but she has also been told to pay Blackstock $195,601 per month in child and spousal support.

“If Blackstock fails to keep up with the maintenance payments associated with the property, Clarkson can file a motion to sell the property,” the source said.
