As violent left-wing mobs continue to turn Los Angeles into a warzone, President Trump is stepping in to restore order — and, as expected, Democrats like Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) are having an absolute meltdown. In what can only be described as another episode of hysterical grandstanding, Waters went on CNN to slam President Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard to protect federal agents and stop the riots that have engulfed the city.

The chaos began after mobs of radical protesters targeted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, violently resisting deportation operations aimed at removing illegal aliens from the city. In response, President Trump federalized the California National Guard, sending troops into the city to assist overwhelmed local law enforcement.

Rather than condemning the lawlessness, Waters bizarrely lashed out at Trump, painting his efforts to protect law enforcement and innocent citizens as “cruel” and “dishonorable.” Speaking to CNN’s “Newsroom” on June 8, Waters feigned concern over the National Guard carrying firearms, as if the violent mobs they faced weren’t hurling rocks, setting fires, and attacking officers.

“They will end up being used. I don’t know why we have guns. What are those guns for? Are they to shoot protesters?” Waters asked dramatically.

Of course, Waters conveniently ignored the fact that these so-called “protesters” had already turned violent, attacking federal agents and destroying property. President Trump’s action wasn’t an escalation — it was a necessary defense of law and order.

Continuing her tirade, Waters accused Trump of being willing to see rioters shot if necessary to maintain control:

“There’s no reason to be here with the National Guard. The President of the United States is a cruel, dishonorable human being who would just as soon they shoot somebody down.”

Waters then called on fellow lawmakers to somehow “dissuade” the National Guard from defending themselves against violent attacks:

“I don’t want that to happen. I want the elected officials to do everything that we can to dissuade them.”

Incredibly, the CNN host Kyung Lah piled on, echoing the left’s usual talking points about how the presence of law enforcement somehow creates violence rather than stopping it:

“It’s the cauldron that has been created today by the deployment of the National Guard, by how people are feeling about these ICE arrests that occurred on Friday, what that clash could mean today here on the streets of Los Angeles.”

But while the radical left wrings its hands and protects criminal behavior, President Trump remains laser-focused on restoring order and defending American sovereignty.

In a powerful statement, Trump declared:

“A once great American City, Los Angeles, has been invaded and occupied by Illegal Aliens and Criminals. Now violent, insurrectionist mobs are swarming and attacking our Federal Agents to try and stop our deportation operations — But these lawless riots only strengthen our resolve.”

He continued:

“I am directing Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi, in coordination with all other relevant Departments and Agencies, to take all such action necessary to liberate Los Angeles from the Migrant Invasion, and put an end to these Migrant riots. Order will be restored, the Illegals will be expelled, and Los Angeles will be set free.”

Once again, while Democrats like Maxine Waters side with violent mobs and illegal aliens, President Trump is fighting to protect American citizens, enforce the law, and secure the nation’s borders. The contrast couldn’t be clearer — one side stands for chaos, the other for order.
