On Thursday, the iconic Lisa Marie Presley—beloved daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley and celebrated singer in her own right—passed away at 54 years old.

On Thursday, Presley was rushed to the hospital in a serious state after supposedly going into cardiac arrest at her Calabasas residence.

Immersed in an induced coma and requiring life support, she was fitted with a temporary pacemaker.

“Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie,” a statement from a rep for the 77-year-old Priscilla read.

“They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

On Thursday at 10:40 a.m., Sgt. Sean Maloney of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from the Los Angeles County Fire Department on 5900 Normandy Drive in Calabasas regarding an unconscious female who was experiencing cardiac arrest.

After a housekeeper found Presley unresponsive in her bedroom, Danny Keough – her former husband who resides with her – started administering CPR until the paramedics arrived. Rescue workers “administered epinephrine at the scene at least one time in order to help Presley regain a pulse.”

Earlier Thursday, Priscilla informed The Post that her daughter was receiving the highest quality care possible in the hospital. However, she didn’t confirm whether or not Lisa Marie suffered a cardiac arrest.

“My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital. She is now receiving the best care. Please keep her and our family in your prayers,” she said in a statement. “We feel the prayers from around the world and ask for privacy at this time.”

On Tuesday, the Presleys attended the Golden Globes to cheer on Austin Butler as he was recognized for his portrayal of The King in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic. Behind-the-scenes footage showed Lisa Marie having difficulty staying balanced while pre-show interviews revealed her speech had slowed down significantly.

On Wednesday, a TikTok clip depicted her ambling with Butler and occasionally appearing to struggle while shuffling and staggering – as if requiring aid.

After watching Butler’s incredible portrayal of her father in the “20/20” special about “Elvis,” she couldn’t help but praise him. Sadly, Elvis passed away from cardiac arrhythmia at only 42 years old. Weeks after his death, a toxicology report showed that several prescription drugs were present in his blood.

“It’s almost as if he channeled him,” Lisa Marie said.

“He put everything he had, his heart, his soul, everything he had into researching, reading, watching, learning. He honored him in every way possible,” she added.

Lisa Marie Presley was born February 1, 1968 – nine months to the day after Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding. Her parents’ only child together, Lisa Marie endured a painful divorce at just four years old before tragically losing her beloved father when she was nine.

On reaching 25 years of age in 1993, Lisa Marie was bequeathed the lion’s share of Elvis’s estimated $100 million estate. Ten years later, she monetized 85% of her inheritance by selling it off.

After the passing of The King of Rock and Roll, Priscilla found solace in joining the Church of Scientology. Nevertheless, Lisa Marie departed from this organization a decade later in 2014 with her statement: “I was slowly starting to self-destruct. They were taking my soul, my money, my everything.”

“I’ve had enough. I’m done,” Presley allegedly told friends.

As an accomplished musician, Lisa Marie has released three pop rock albums: “To Whom It May Concern” in 2003; “Now What” in 2005; and most recently, the remarkable 2012 album titled “Storm & Grace.”

Presley had wed four times, to the likes of Keough, Michael Jackson, Nicolas Cage and Michael Lockwood.

She was a mother of four, including Benjamin Keough who sadly passed away due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound on July 12th, 2020 at age 27.

Keough and Presley have one daughter, actress Riley Keough, 33. She has twin daughters aged 14 years old with Lockwood named Finley Aaron Love and Harper Vivienne Ann.

In a heartbreaking essay for People magazine, Presley described the immense grief that still overwhelms her and her three daughters over their beloved son’s unexpected passing. According to Presley, they feel “completely detonated and destroyed” by his death.

“We live in this every. Single. Day,” she said. “Nothing, absolutely NOTHING takes away the pain, but finding support can sometimes help you feel a little bit less alone,” Lisa Marie continued.

On Thursday, an outpouring of recognition flooded in for Lisa Marie as fellow ex-Scientologist Leah Remini tweeted her tribute: “I’m heartbroken over the passing of Lisa Marie Presley. Lisa did not have an easy life, as some might think. May she be at peace, resting with her son and father now. Her mom Priscilla and her three daughters, Riley, Finley, and Harper, are in my prayers.”

LeAnn Rimes wrote on Twitter: “lisa marie presley… how heartbreaking. i hope she is at peace in her dad’s arms. my heart goes out to her family. too much grief in just a couple of years. #riplisamarie #LisaMariePresley.”
