Not everyone has the courage to do what is right. It’s not a simple task. It will need one to put forth more effort, invest time, and work hard for others rather than for themselves. This may appear to be an extremely difficult thing to accomplish for others, but it isn’t for this 8-year-old boy from South Carolina.
Greyson Winfield keeps the importance of doing the right thing at the top of his mind at all times. Since he was only 4 years old, he has been assisting others!
Greyson was four years old when he made Christmas presents and gave them to those who were less fortunate than he was. And four years later, Greyson is undoubtedly doing a lot more than he did before. According to Inspire More, he has already founded an organization called “Helping Footprint” that collects donations and distributes gift cards to people in need so they may purchase food with them.
Inspire More said, “Greyson also personally prepares meals for local children and offers lawn services to anyone who could use a little help.” He even created business cards to help him publicize his organization.
Stevie Greysons’ mother, who is also the founder of this charity, told CNN that the Coronavirus was her inspiration. She stated, “He asked how people will keep their homes and feed their children if they aren’t working. That is truly what started Helping Footprint take off.”
However, it appears that Greyson isn’t the only one inspired to assist. It appears to be part of his DNA. That is because both of his parents were former firefighters before him. And he was influenced by their example, as he learned what caring for the neighborhood is all about from them.
He stated that he wants to be a Navy Seal when he grows up. Well, it appears that he intends to devote his life to helping others. Such a selfless action from a young lad like him.
When he was asked why he wanted to join the Navy Seals, he explained, “helping others is the right thing to do. Also, JFK was in the Navy before becoming president and I want to follow his lead.”
Greyson has shown us that children can make a difference in the world. Regardless of how young or old you are, you may still assist others who are suffering. And if you want to be one of them, now is the best time to do so. COVID-19 has had a tremendous impact on many people’s lives. As the number of good instances increases, more and more individuals requiring assistance arise.
It’s also the best time to start assisting others. The greatest difficulty may be thinking of a method to assist others. However, keep in mind that there is no such thing as being too modest or excessive when it comes to the assistance you are ready to provide. Holding the door for the individual who comes after you is enough way to pay it forward.
There’s no need for you to have a cause or motivation behind it. The world is currently facing several problems. These days, not everyone has the luxury of living an easy life. So what can you do to aid the situation? What can you contribute to Greyson?
