In what can only be described as a masterclass in political gaslighting, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is once again drawing fierce criticism after absurdly labeling the violent anti-ICE riots currently ravaging Los Angeles as “peaceful demonstrations.” Clinton’s latest outburst not only exposes the radical left’s complete disregard for law and order but also highlights the Democrat Party’s ongoing strategy of downplaying chaos in their desperate bid to obstruct President Trump’s America First agenda.
Since June 7, 2025, Los Angeles has been engulfed in violent riots aimed at federal immigration authorities, with scenes reminiscent of the anarchic mayhem that swept American cities in 2020 under Democrat leadership. Masked mobs have torched police vehicles, assaulted officers with bricks and cinder blocks, looted businesses, and terrorized innocent citizens — all while flying the banners of open-borders activism. Yet Democrats, led by the likes of Clinton, have shamelessly weaponized the violence for political gain.
On June 9, Clinton took to X (formerly Twitter) to criticize President Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard to help restore order in the Democrat-controlled city, declaring, “California Governor Newsom didn’t request the National Guard be deployed to his state following peaceful demonstrations. Trump sent them anyway. It’s the first time in 60 years a president has made that choice. Trump’s goal isn’t to keep Californians safe. His goal is to cause chaos, because chaos is good for Trump.”
Notably, Clinton had comments turned off on the post — a telling sign that she wasn’t interested in hearing the American people’s overwhelming disapproval of her tone-deaf narrative. Conservative powerhouse Libs of TikTok roasted Clinton for her cowardice, writing, “Comments off lol. She can’t handle the ratio. This is what Hillary Clinton calls ‘peaceful demonstrations.’”
Across social media, conservatives erupted with righteous anger, calling out Clinton’s willful distortion of reality. One user summed up the hypocrisy perfectly: “She ALWAYS has comments off. She knows. I still wonder, what does an anti-peaceful protest look like to Democrats? This reminds me of the border issue during Biden’s administration – ‘the border is closed’ yet EVERYONE could see videos of illegals flooding across.”
Another added, “Peaceful protests? While people are throwing cinder blocks at officers’ heads, burning cars, and destroying neighborhoods? Do the Dems think Americans are blind or just stupid? They would actually gain some credibility if they admitted this is out of control.”
Drawing parallels to historic federal intervention, one user wrote, “The South didn’t ask for federal help during the civil rights movement either, but the Feds stepped in to protect citizens’ rights. If California refuses to uphold law and order, President Trump has every right to send in federal help.”
Beyond the immediate violence, many conservatives see the left’s enabling of these riots as part of a much darker agenda. One commentator warned, “The Democrats are following their long-term plan — destroy the American way of life, replace freedom with government control, and concentrate power in the hands of the elites. That’s their dream and end goal.”
This episode serves as yet another example of the radical left’s utter contempt for law-abiding Americans and their blind loyalty to political narratives — even as cities burn. But President Trump, as always, is standing firm. While Democrats like Clinton continue to defend the indefensible, Trump is prioritizing the safety of American citizens and the rule of law — proving once again why so many Americans trust him to restore order and sanity.
