The radical Left’s war on biological reality just hit a roadblock—President Trump. As Democrats continue to fumble over something as basic as defining the word “woman,” Trump has taken decisive action, issuing an executive order that restores common sense to federal law and protects women from the dangerous consequences of gender ideology.

A video released by the Republican research group America Rising exposed the stunning inability—or outright refusal—of prominent Democrats to define what a woman is. Instead of answering a simple question, they dodged, deflected, and even lashed out.

Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet, D-Mich., seemed utterly confused, responding, “I don’t understand what you mean.” Rep. Herb Conaway, D-N.J., parroted the Left’s usual talking points, claiming, “It is a more complicated question than one might know.” But the most bizarre response came from radical Squad member Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., who fired back with an unrelated question: “Do you get minimum wage at least?”

While Democrats embrace absurdity, President Trump is bringing back reality. His executive order, titled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” lays out a simple, factual definition of womanhood:

“‘Women’ or ‘woman’ and ‘girls’ or ‘girl’ shall mean adult and juvenile human females, respectively. ‘Female’ means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell.”

The order takes direct aim at the radical gender movement, which has infiltrated every corner of American society. “Across the country, ideologues who deny the biological reality of sex have increasingly used legal and other socially coercive means to permit men to self-identify as women and gain access to intimate single-sex spaces and activities designed for women, from women’s domestic abuse shelters to women’s workplace showers,” the White House stated.

Trump’s order makes it clear: there are only two sexes—male and female—and they are not interchangeable. Unlike the Biden administration, which has pandered to the radical Left’s ever-changing demands, Trump is standing up for the truth.

“Gender ideology replaces the biological category of sex with an ever-shifting concept of self-assessed gender identity, permitting the false claim that males can identify as and thus become women and vice versa,” the order states. It also notes how this ideology dismantles laws designed to protect women by replacing them with “an identity-based, inchoate social concept.”

But Trump isn’t just offering words—he’s taking action. His executive order explicitly bans men from being housed in women’s prisons or detention centers, addressing one of the most egregious abuses of leftist gender policies. It also ensures that no taxpayer dollars will be used for so-called “gender transition” procedures in federal prisons, effectively putting an end to the madness of funding life-altering surgeries for criminals.

While weak, pandering Democrats like Joe Biden and his allies refuse to acknowledge biological reality, Trump is once again showing leadership. By restoring truth in federal law and protecting the rights and safety of women, this executive order is a major win for common sense—and a major defeat for the radical Left’s gender extremism.
