While millions of patriotic Americans were honoring the fallen on Memorial Day, President Donald Trump used the moment to shine a spotlight on another battlefield — the fight to reclaim America’s institutions from radical left-wing ideology. This time, his target was Harvard University — and the liberal elites are absolutely losing it.

Harvard Law professor emeritus Laurence Tribe, a far-left fixture of academia and a regular on MSNBC, went into full meltdown mode Monday night after Trump posted a series of Truth Social messages torching the Ivy League school’s radical drift, its refusal to cooperate on national security concerns, and its bloated taxpayer funding.

Trump’s message was clear: it’s time for elite, out-of-touch institutions like Harvard to be held accountable — especially when they’re stonewalling on critical national security matters involving foreign students and continuing to incubate antisemitism under the guise of “academic freedom.”

“We are still waiting for the Foreign Student Lists from Harvard so that we can determine, after a ridiculous expenditure of BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, how many radicalized lunatics, troublemakers all, should not be let back into our Country,” Trump wrote. He added that Harvard’s delays in providing documentation were “probably for good reason,” noting, “the best thing Harvard has going for it is that they have shopped around and found the absolute best Judge (for them!) – But have no fear, the Government will, in the end, WIN!”

Then came the real bombshell: Trump suggested redirecting Harvard’s federal funding to skilled trade schools — institutions that actually benefit working-class Americans instead of indoctrinating future activists. “I am considering taking Three Billion Dollars of Grant Money away from a very antisemitic Harvard, and giving it to TRADE SCHOOLS all across our land,” he said. “What a great investment that would be for the USA, and so badly needed!!!”

Cue the academic panic.

Appearing on MSNBC’s *The Last Word* with Lawrence O’Donnell, Professor Tribe nearly combusted on live television, branding Trump “unhinged” and claiming the 45th president “hates intellect” — an ironic accusation coming from a man defending the same institution that has allowed antisemitic protests to flourish and refuses to disclose who it’s welcoming onto American soil under the label of “foreign students.”

“He has no idea what he’s talking about,” Tribe raged. “He just thinks that slinging around frankly, BS about the people at Harvard and other institutions will somehow substitute for taking the law into account.” The professor was visibly rattled that the man he and his colleagues have spent years trying to silence is now threatening to expose and defund their club.

Then came the kicker: Tribe accused Trump of violating the First Amendment by daring to question what foreign nationals on student visas are saying and doing on U.S. soil. “He wants to know details about what they say, what they think,” Tribe said. “That’s a violation of the First Amendment.” In Tribe’s world, apparently national security stops at Harvard Yard.

Tribe concluded his on-air tantrum by making a laughable claim: that Trump is attacking Harvard simply because he “hates intellect” and resents “excellence.” In reality, Trump’s base — and millions of common-sense Americans — are sick of funding elite universities that undermine American values, protect bad actors, and churn out radicals who loathe the very country that pays their tuition.

The bottom line? President Trump isn’t “attacking intellect.” He’s standing up for the forgotten men and women who don’t have Ivy League connections, who didn’t inherit wealth, and who believe in a country where education serves citizens — not globalist ideology.

And if Harvard doesn’t like it, maybe it’s time they start paying their own bills.
