For many people, Disney is a way of life. This is certainly the case for Ty and Ashley. These two lovebirds recently tied the knot, and their wedding festivities are causing Disney lovers all around the world to rejoice. That’s because Ty and Ashley decided to get married in a totally Disney-themed wedding. From the wedding dress to the reception tables, every single moment of this wedding had just the right dose of pixie dust sprinkled all over it. The pictures of this fairy tale wedding are currently going viral.
It was by Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle in Anaheim, CA, that this story began. There, on a beautiful sunny afternoon, Ty proposed to Ashley. Immediately after Ashley accepted, this couple began planning the ultimate Disney wedding. Although they both wanted to get married at a Disney Resort, it was easier for their families to travel to Houston for the big day. So, this couple just decided that they would have to work extra hard to make the Disney magic happen in Texas.
If you doubt this tale, well, just take a look at the pictures for yourself. You will see that Ashley’s wedding dress was designed to look just like one a Disney princess would wear. Guests at the reception were treated like Disney royalty with various Disney themed table settings. Every single table had a different Disney inspiration, including those inspired by Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Tangled. Various trinkets were placed on different tables that had something to do with the films, such as a rose for Beauty and the Beast and a “dinglehoper” for The Little Mermaid.
Lastly, the wedding cake was topped with the famous chairs from the Disney/Pixar film Up! In case you didn’t know, both of these chairs symbolized the love that Ellie and Carl shared in the film, and, hopefully, they will also come to symbolize the love that Ashley and Ty will strengthen throughout the course of their wedded life.
