The Hollywood left is at it again — this time rallying behind one of their own in a dramatic, attention-seeking spat with President Trump. Former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has come out in full-throated support of fellow liberal loudmouth Rosie O’Donnell after the president called O’Donnell a “threat to humanity” and joked about revoking her U.S. citizenship.
O’Donnell, now living in Ireland, has made a habit of insulting President Trump for nearly two decades, and her latest unhinged tirade is no different. After Trump mocked her on Truth Social and suggested she stay in her new Irish home permanently, the embattled comedian lashed out with personal attacks, virtue signaling, and—of course—a Jeffrey Epstein reference, because when the left is cornered, they go straight for recycled talking points.

DeGeneres, who recently fled to England with her wife Portia de Rossi, was quick to jump in from across the pond. The 67-year-old posted a screenshot of O’Donnell’s angry diatribe alongside Trump’s post, writing simply: “Good for you.” Because nothing says courage like two multimillionaires whining from overseas about how hard it is to live in a country they abandoned.

For those keeping track, O’Donnell moved to the Dublin suburb of Howth earlier this year with her 12-year-old child, who she says is non-binary and autistic. She claims she’s in the process of obtaining Irish citizenship and left the U.S. following Trump’s re-election over Kamala Harris—yet somehow still manages to inject herself into American politics daily.

President Trump’s social media post wasn’t exactly subtle — and he wasn’t trying to be. “Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country,” he wrote, “I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

Predictably, the left went into full meltdown mode. O’Donnell responded with a rant drenched in identity politics, calling Trump a liar, a thief, and — in the words of every college freshman activist — someone who “sells fear on golf courses.” She boasted of being “everything you fear: a loud woman, a queer woman,” and insisted that she “still lives rent-free” in Trump’s head. Irony, of course, lost on her entirely.

While the media quickly jumped to point out there’s no legal mechanism for Trump to revoke her citizenship, they conveniently ignored the bigger picture: Trump’s message wasn’t about legal maneuvering — it was a shot at the poisonous rhetoric and contempt elites like O’Donnell hold for everyday Americans. She may claim to “nurture and create,” but her legacy is one of vulgarity, division, and smug disdain for the very country she couldn’t leave fast enough.
As for DeGeneres and her “good for you” cheerleading? It’s just another example of the Hollywood elite circling the wagons, desperate to stay relevant by bashing Trump — even from thousands of miles away.
Americans should be asking: If these celebrities hate this country so much, why do they keep meddling in it from afar?
