While the left obsesses over gender pronouns and climate hysteria, the Trump administration was focused on something that truly matters: saving America’s children. In late June, the U.S. Marshals Service announced a sweeping and historic success — rescuing *60 critically missing children* in just one corner of Florida, pulling them out of the clutches of predators and traffickers.

The operation, fittingly named **Operation DRAGON EYE**, was the most successful child recovery mission in the history of the U.S. Marshals Service. It brought together federal, state, and local law enforcement along with social service groups, medical professionals, and nonprofit organizations. The result: dozens of children saved, and eight criminals arrested on charges ranging from human trafficking to narcotics possession.

This was not a routine case of runaway teens. The Marshals made clear that these were “critically missing” children — young people between the ages of 9 and 17 who were in immediate danger of violent crime, sexual exploitation, or abuse. Without intervention, their futures could have been lost forever to the evils of human trafficking, substance abuse, or predatory adults.

Trump’s Department of Justice and his border leadership team had made child rescue a top priority, with then-Border Czar Tom Homan often pointing out the staggering number of children being exploited and trafficked during the border crisis. That crisis has only worsened under Joe Biden’s open-border policies, which have made it easier than ever for cartels and predators to exploit children for profit. But under Trump, there was no mistaking the mission: protect America’s kids at all costs.

William Berger, U.S. Marshal for the Middle District of Florida, called the operation “the most successful missing child recovery effort in the history of the United States Marshals Service.” He carefully tempered his enthusiasm out of respect for the victims but made clear what a historic milestone this was: dozens of children saved from unimaginable futures, predators off the streets, and real accountability brought to those who exploit the most vulnerable.

What made Operation DRAGON EYE unique was not just the sheer scale of children rescued, but the care they received afterward. Each child was debriefed, given medical and psychological support, and connected with follow-up services designed to keep them safe and help them rebuild their lives. As Berger explained, the mission didn’t end with the rescue; it continued with ensuring that these children were not “further victimized” by being returned to the same dangerous environments.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children also praised the operation. Callahan Walsh, its Executive Director, called the success “a testament to what’s possible when agencies unite with a shared mission to protect children.” He emphasized the importance of partnerships in ensuring every child has a safe childhood.

This is what leadership looks like. While Democrats in Washington tie themselves in knots over political correctness, President Trump’s administration put resources where they matter most: into defending the innocent, cracking down on traffickers, and proving that law enforcement — when unleashed and unshackled by politics — can achieve incredible things.

Operation DRAGON EYE wasn’t just a victory for law enforcement. It was a victory for America’s children — and a reminder that real leaders fight to protect the vulnerable, not score political points.
