In a damning revelation that confirms what many conservatives have long suspected, a newly declassified review has exposed how former CIA Director John Brennan deliberately inserted false information into the intelligence community’s 2016 Russia report—ignoring warnings from his own analysts to pursue a partisan political agenda aimed at President Donald J. Trump.
On July 2, 2025, federal agencies confirmed what millions of Americans already knew: the so-called “Russia collusion” narrative was built on a foundation of lies, faulty analysis, and political bias. This time, the cover-up wasn’t just exposed—it was documented.
According to the declassified review obtained by Fox News, Brennan played a key role in pushing the discredited Steele Dossier—a Clinton-funded opposition research smear job—despite repeated warnings from top CIA operatives. The report notes Brennan showed “a preference for narrative consistency over analytical soundness,” choosing to advance a storyline over verified facts. Translation? He bent the truth to frame President Trump.
Even worse, when seasoned CIA professionals flagged serious flaws in the dossier, Brennan wasn’t interested in the truth. Instead, he pushed forward anyway, formalizing his position and insisting the dossier be included in the report. In doing so, Brennan threatened “the credibility of the entire paper,” the review concludes.

Former CIA officer Bryan Dean Wright didn’t mince words in a July 3rd Fox News op-ed. He wrote bluntly that Brennan “belongs in prison” for what he did.
Wright revealed that Brennan forced the Steele Dossier into the report despite being warned it didn’t meet “the most basic tradecraft standards.” Why? Because Brennan, like many other Obama holdovers, prioritized “narrative consistency” over the truth. That “narrative,” of course, was that Trump was a Russian asset—a lie that divided the nation and undermined a sitting president.
