Dr. Dre is a Grammy-winning record producer, rapper, and creator of the Beats by Dre headphones. Aside from being a wealthy business owner (Dr. Dre has an estimated net worth approaching $800 million), the “Chronic” artist is also a father. Despite their differences, LaTanya Young, 38-year-old, Dr. Dre’s eldest daughter, has spoken to the Daily Mail about her financial difficulties and how she has been driving around in an SUV rental while begging him for money.

Unfortunately, Young stated that she had not received anything from her estranged father for the previous eighteen months. Dr. Dre’s legal name is Andre Romelle Young. That means she has had to deal with her problems without the help of her wealthy father, who was recently ordered to pay $300,000 per month in spousal support to his ex-wife Nicole Young throughout the epidemic.

Young works as a food delivery driver for apps like Uber Eats and DoorDash to make ends meet. This means she must live on the low salaries paid to contract drivers as well as the high gratuities provided by customers ordering meals.

LaTanya Young is a mother of four who is having trouble. She works a third shift at a Los Angeles warehouse in addition to her two delivery jobs. Her father’s producer has been ignoring her pleas for assistance, and things are not going well for her and her family.

LaTanya Young, the daughter of Dr. Dre and Lisa Johnson, is a forty-year-old black woman who lives in Los Angeles with her ten children. When LaTanya was five years old, her parents divorced. She has not seen her biological father in eighteen years because she does not have his phone number or communicate with him through his staff if she wants to talk to him.

LaTanya named her first son after her father, D’Andre. Her other kids are 16-year-old Tatiyana, 13-year-old Rhiana, and three-year-old Jason III.

The poor single mom told, “I’ve been working in a warehouse and doing Uber Eats and DoorDash. My kids are staying with friends – they are not living in the car, it’s just me. I’m taking odd jobs just to make it now – I got paid $15 an hour as an assembler at the warehouse. I’m trying to keep my head above water. I’ve been in debt for a while.”

Things have gotten so bad that she may be evicted from her apartment and lose her vehicle, which has also provided her with a place to live.

“The car is a pretty penny,” she said. “It’s an SUV that costs $2,300 for three weeks, and I only paid for one week. Sooner or later, they are going to take the car.”

Young left Nevada last month with her children in search of employment, but it has been impossible to find.

“The wage is higher in California – there was no work in Nevada. There weren’t enough jobs. I have friends and family that will let us come back and forth, but the majority of the time, I’m living out of my car.”
