Anytime a performer steps up to sing the National Anthem, music, sports fans, and just the curious watch and listen to see how well it’s done. For Urban, this was the first time that he sang the National Anthem publicly which helped to stir even more curiosity. At this performance, Urban donned a Predators jersey that included his name and a number 17 emblazoned on the back. Urban put in a nearly flawless performance as he entertained those in attendance with his unique style and country-flavored vocals.
The arena has welcomed other country-western stars including Vince Gill and Carrie Underwood, so there was plenty of pressure to perform well.
