In yet another disturbing display of leftist hypocrisy and moral decay, a Chicago elementary school teacher was caught on camera making a grotesque mockery of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk’s assassination — pretending to shoot herself in the neck during an anti-Trump “No Kings” protest over the weekend.
The teacher, identified as Lucy Martinez of Nathan Hale Elementary School, was filmed making a gun gesture to her throat and pretending to pull the trigger as a man in a pickup truck drove by waving a flag that called the late Turning Point USA founder a “hero.” Multiple protesters were also seen flipping off the man as Martinez performed the disgusting act.

Kirk, just 31, was brutally murdered last month after being shot in the neck while giving a speech at Utah Valley University. The alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, is facing charges for what authorities described as a politically motivated attack.
The teacher’s callous imitation of the murder — mocking a man who was assassinated for his beliefs — has shocked parents and conservatives nationwide. Video of the gesture quickly went viral, igniting outrage over the state of America’s education system and the extremist ideology infecting public schools.
“This is who we trust with our children and then wonder why they become radicalized as adults,” *Libs of Chicago* posted on X.

Ryan Fournier, co-founder of *Students for Trump*, blasted Martinez’s vile behavior, saying, “This woman teaches children. Lucy is now the perfect face of the ‘No Kings’ movement — a movement that preaches ‘love’ but celebrates death. Evil always exposes itself.”
Other users were equally outraged. “What parent would want their child being taught by such a truly hateful person?” one commenter asked. “If this is what’s happening in classrooms, no wonder kids are being brainwashed to hate conservatives.”

Following the viral backlash, Nathan Hale Elementary’s website mysteriously went offline, and Chicago Public Schools (CPS) released a carefully worded statement but refused to confirm whether Martinez was disciplined or fired.
“CPS remains committed to creating and maintaining a welcoming, safe, and inclusive teaching and learning environment, free from harassment, bias, or harm of any kind,” the district said. “While CPS does not comment on specific personnel matters, the district follows a consistent process when allegations of misconduct are reported. Employees found to have violated Board policy are subject to disciplinary action.”

The response — or lack thereof — has done little to calm furious parents, who see this as yet another example of the public education establishment protecting far-left extremists while preaching “tolerance.”
This grotesque incident highlights a growing trend of radical educators using their platforms to push politics rather than teach children. From promoting gender ideology to mocking conservative deaths, the rot in America’s classrooms is becoming impossible to ignore.

The “No Kings” movement, which claims to be about “justice” and “equality,” has repeatedly devolved into violent rhetoric and open hostility toward conservatives — and Martinez’s disgusting gesture is just the latest example.

At a time when America should be coming together to reject political violence, the left continues to normalize it — even celebrating it. And now, one of those cheerleaders is standing at the front of a classroom, teaching children.
If this is what “progressivism” looks like in 2025, parents have every right to demand accountability — and to take their kids out of schools that allow hate to masquerade as “education.”
