Democrats are scrambling, and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) just proved it.

With bipartisan pressure mounting to finally release the full Epstein files, Democrats find themselves in uncomfortable territory — especially now that House Minority Leader **Hakeem Jeffries** has been tied directly to Jeffrey Epstein through a 2013 fundraising solicitation.

And when a reporter dared to ask Rep. Khanna whether Jeffries should return the money or even step down, the California Democrat practically short-circuited.

The exchange happened after overwhelming majorities in both chambers — **427–1 in the House** — voted to order the DOJ to release the full, unredacted Epstein documents. President Trump has already vowed to sign it, confident that **Republicans have nothing to hide**, unlike their colleagues across the aisle who spent years weaponizing rumors about Trump while ignoring their own skeletons.

The renewed attention on the Democrat–Epstein nexus triggered a simple question from a reporter:

“Any comment on Hakeem Jeffries’ campaign soliciting money from Jeffrey Epstein back in 2013?”

Khanna blinked — clearly caught off guard.

“This is the first I’m hearing about it,” he stammered.
“Comer said it on the floor,” the reporter replied.

“Well, I don’t know if it’s true,” Khanna said nervously. “But obviously, anyone who took money from him should return the money. Donate the money.”

When pressed further on whether Jeffries should resign his leadership role, Khanna repeated — multiple times — that he had “no idea” and needed to “look at it,” but again admitted that if Jeffries took Epstein-linked donations, “he should certainly return the money or donate the money.”

In other words: panic, denial, retreat.

But the facts are becoming impossible for Democrats to dodge.

Comer: Jeffries’ team directly sought Epstein’s financial support

House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) revealed the details Tuesday, citing a damning 2013 email uncovered during the committee’s probe. The email — sent by Democratic fundraiser Lisa Rossi — was addressed directly to Epstein, describing Rep. Jeffries as a rising star, “Brooklyn’s Barack,” and urging Epstein to attend a high-dollar dinner with President Obama.

“Democrat fundraisers invited Epstein to attend an event or meet privately with Hakeem Jeffries,” Comer said on the House floor. “So, Hakeem Jeffries’ campaign **solicited money from Jeffrey Epstein**. That’s what we found in the latest document batch.”

Worse still, the invitation was sent **five years after** Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting a minor — meaning Democrats can’t claim ignorance.

The email gushed over Jeffries’ “progressive” credentials and encouraged Epstein to donate to help Democrats retake the majority. It even included glowing articles and promotional video links to sell Jeffries as one of the party’s next big stars.

Democrats’ Epstein hypocrisy is catching up to them

For years, Democrats have tried — and failed — to link Donald Trump to Epstein despite overwhelming evidence he cut ties long before Epstein’s darkest crimes became public. Meanwhile, top Democrats — including Bill Clinton and now Hakeem Jeffries — maintained connections or sought donations well after Epstein’s conviction.

And suddenly, with disclosures coming and subpoenas flying, Democrats are losing their nerve.

Ro Khanna’s sputtering non-answers are only the beginning. Once the Epstein files are released — unredacted — Americans will finally see why Democrats fought transparency for so long.

Spoiler:
MAGA expects a whole lot more blue names on those lists.
